Len Wiseman Files For Divorce From Kate Beckinsale 

Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman have called it quits.

director filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. His court documents state that he and Beckinsale have both waived any right to spousal support, and according to TMZ, which first reported the news, this decision suggests there is a prenup.

The former couple met in 2003 while working on the first

film together, which Wiseman directed, and they later tied the knot in 2004. The two do not have any children together. Beckinsale has a 16-year-old daughter, Lily, with former partner Michael Sheen.

Last November, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that Beckinsale and Wiseman had been separated for several months.

“They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there,” said the source, adding that “there has been no drama.”

“It’s just not Kate’s style,” the source continued. “They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart.”
