SM Entertainment's Visual & Art Director, Min Hwijin, elaborates on the concept behind Taemin's first solo mini-album in an interview with W Korea.

I tried to emphasize the image that would bring good dreams to those who look at the natural strength of the subject. No matter who sees it, their minds turn into pastel light, The moment they find that feeling, the imaginations in the mind of each woman bloom.

There have been quite a few daring concepts that SHINee and f(x) have adopted for their albums and promotional teasers.
Rather than having individualized images, I wanted to carve a niche for them as a group in the early stages of their debut. In the beginning,we gave a lot of explanations and shared discussions about the directions that the teams have to take. A few years ago, we were at a filming location and Taemin suddenly made a comment. He said, “I can now understand your intentions as to why Ты wanted to portray so many different sides of me.” I felt touched at that moment. In the Музыка industry, it’s impossible not to ponder about the “next generation”. Because it’s compulsory to showcase something different from what has been set as a base. But it’s not like we are searching for something better или bigger. We are just searching for something new in a "different" way. SHINee and f(x)'s visuals are the result of that.
