Little Mix Makes 'Magic' Atop U.K. Singles Chart

British electronica trio Years & Years have become the first artists to hit the top of the U.K. album chart in the new Friday-to-Thursday sales window, following last week’s launch of New Music Fridays. Their debut album

(Polydor/Universal) arrived at No. 1 in today’s new Official Charts Company data. Female pop troupe Little Mix entered the singles chart at the top with "Black Magic" (Syco Music/Sony).

Last week’s chart-topper, "House Every Weekend" (Positiva/EMI/ Universal) by English DJ David Zowie, fell to No. 5. Swedish DJ-artist Avicii landed his eighth U.K. top 10 single as "Waiting for Love" (Positiva/PRMD/Universal) arrived at No. 6.
