Those two were meant for each other. They had everything to be happy : they had the same dreams, wanted the same life, the same things...Gosh, they could have had such a perfect happy ending, if only she hadn’t died 😭

I just reaaallyy wanted Merlin to be happy. He deserved it, he deserved it so much. I like to imagine that after the last episode, Merlin reunited with Freya, and that she was somehow able to get out of the Lake to reach him and that they lived happily ever after, in a place with mountains, couple of cows, wild flowers, fields and a lake. ❤️
