As I've understood it, he had a crush on her at first (if I remember right, his mother сказал(-а) so), and Tatiana fell head over heals in Любовь with him (of course she did!!!). Unfortunately for her she became obsessed with him, was annoying and like a stalker, and that freaked him out of course, and he started avoiding her. Michael didn't like girls who wanted something from him all the time, and Tatiana was just like that, overly crazy clingy.
