Do Ты think Oliver is supposed to be Oliver Cromwell?!?!

It's been confirmed; the Oliver in the Morganville series is indeed supposed to be Oliver Cromwell. In fact, I'm pretty sure his full name was mentioned during Fade Out...

Well, I've thought Oliver was Oliver Cromwell for a while. I started to think about it after (I think it was) Fade Out, when Oliver сказал(-а) his birth and 'death' дата (which are the same as Oliver Cromwell's). He also didn't want to say his last name, which I thought was strange... He lived in the same place as Oliver Cromwell as well so... I am completely sure this is no coincidence and that Oliver IS Oliver Cromwell :D.

Oliver is indeed Oliver Cromwell. Rachel Caine herself has come out and сказал(-а) it a few times, I believe, and she drops a lot of hints throughout the series, so one could pick up on it oneself if one happens to be historically savvy. In 'Fade Out' Oliver gives his birth/death years and birthplace, which match Cromwell's; Myrnin calls him a Puritan once, and in the same conversation mentions the Battle of Drogheda, which Cromwell won, and calls him "Old Ironsides", which was Cromwell's military nickname.
