First, I just want to make something extremely clear. I may not have any personal experience with some of these illnesses and I am aware that as a result I am speaking from a position of privilege. I will do my best to treat this Статья with the delicacy and sensitivity it deserves. Please let me know if anything comes out as offensive and know that it was most certainly not intentional. Another thing to note: I am not a professional and do not have the ability to actually diagnose these illnesses, everything in this Статья is entirely speculation and hypothesizing on my behalf.

I will start by discussing an illness that I am personally familiar with: depression. Every now and again in the Показать characters seem to Показать symptoms of depression. Milah is the character I feel this comes across most strongly. People often criticize me или even just wonder about my sympathy for Milah. Honestly, a lot of it comes from my own experience with depression and the fact that Milah's actions were quite similar to how I expressed my unhappiness and the symptoms of my own depression. Drinking heavily, neglecting responsibilities, Актёрское искусство very горький and sarcastic, and leaving the house frequently because I felt I was suffocating when inside - these were all things I did. I suppose I understand personally how trapped she felt and how the desperation to escape the Источник of your unhappiness - in her case her marriage and the stigma that came with being married to a coward - can make Ты just that: desperate. People do irrational, hurtful and irresponsible things when they're desperate. Milah left her son and husband, was it the right thing to do? Of course not, and she does have to be held accountable for that. But it is also not right to say she was a terrible person and leave it at that, especially when the situation is just not that simple. Depression is one of the few things that can overwhelm the motherly instinct and it's not something that can be rationalized away. It was cowardly and she hurt those around her but there was still the need to escape, the need to protect herself in any way possible. I also feel I need to point out that it worked - when we see Milah in the bar, meeting Killian for the first time, she looks exhausted and worn. Yet, after escaping her marriage and travelling with Hook for years she looks so much better, healthier. The types of depression she would have suffered from are either link или link

Depression also Ссылки in with another illness или disorder called link which is the inability to feel any sort of pleasure. Anhedonia is often a symptom of depression. This all ties in with the phenomenon of having a сердце ripped out. Both Cora and Graham сказал(-а) in one form или another that they were unable to feel anything. Cora even ripped out her own сердце because she knew this would be the result. Anhedonia doesn't quite fit but it's the closest diagnoses I could find.

Speaking about hearts being ripped out leads me on to someone else who may suffer from a disorder: Hook. It was actually Hook who inspired me into researching and Письмо this Статья as I wondered if there was a name for someone's actual [i]need[i/] for revenge and I came across something I had never come across before: link. Basically, this disorder describes a state of mind where someone has become so горький they can barely function. This is what occurs when someone has experienced something deeply traumatic and cannot let go how unfair it all was. I think being tied to a mast and being forced to see someone Ты Любовь deeply having her сердце ripped from her chest and crushed to ash as she died in your arms would count. The injustice of it all and his fury and desire for revenge were great enough to still be going strong after 300 years. As far as we know now, he spent 300 years doing nothing but looking for a way to get revenge. Was he incapable of putting aside his thirst for vengeance all those years? I think he must have been as I can't imagine the drive necessary to only have one goal for three centuries.

Lastly, there's one еще person who suffers from an illness and that is Emma. From what I can gather she suffers from link. As with Anhedonia the diagnoses isn't perfect but it's as close as I could find. Emotional Detachment is what it sounds like: an inability to connect with other people on an emotional level. and for ten years, Emma might well have has this. The ten years before the series starts Emma had no real emotional connection with anybody. She never contacted anyone after moving to Storybrooke and she did just up and Переместить without so much as a by-your-leave. In Storybrooke she connects with Henry, Mary Margaret, and Graham to an extent but she never fully opens up to them или lets down her walls completely. After Neal's betrayal she chose to put up those walls and those walls prevent her really connecting with anybody on a meaningful level.

There may be еще to add to this and I'll probably make some edits to it another time. Let me know if Ты think I've missed something and I'll do some research on it and add it to the article.

I'm sure many people know I ship CaptainSwan, but I will try to keep this Статья as unbiased as possible and will enter a mental neutral zone.

It's unfortunate, but I see a lot of negative encounters between SwanFire shippers and CaptainSwan shippers. еще negative than positive, too. Can this be changed? I think so. How? Respect.

But to clarify on what's respectful and what's disrespectful, here are some examples:

Respectful

"I think Neal and Emma would make a good couple because they have similar backgrounds and they've been through a lot."

"I don't think Emma and Neal would make a good couple...

It has come to my attention that some people (SwanFire shippers, it usually seems) genuinely don't understand why the CaptainSwan ship even exists. And I just want to say, before I get started, that it is not my intention to start a ship war between CaptainSwan and SwanFire. The intention of this Статья is not to convert SwanFire shippers, but to help them understand where some CaptainSwan shippers might be coming from.

This Статья is not intended to speak on behalf of all CaptainSwan shippers because while we agree on the Emma x Hook relationship, we may not all be on the ship for the same...

After Чтение katarlover's Статья I made this long Комментарий about it. I asked him if he minded if I Опубликовано the response as a separate article--he сказал(-а) yes, so here we go. I tried to be respectful about it, feel free to agree или disagree, just be respectful about it.

I can agree to some extent that she's a hypocrite, but not for that reason. I feel like that is еще so denial and a twisted sense of justice. At that point she was totally (by some faltered mental state) convinced she was in the right, and that she really wasn't evil. In the most Последнее season she admits that she's wrong many times;...

People seems to have a lot of issues with Emma and some of the choices she made. She has never been a favourite character of mine but I really feel dreadful for her. She was forced into a lot of shitty situations where she had to make terrible decisions and generally always chooses to do right by other people even if it will bring her heartache.

Starting at the very beginning, one of the main things that Emma did that people use against her is her giving up Henry. I've seen her called a terrible person, a bad mother, and all sorts of things because of this and the kicker? She didn't have a choice!...

The Boy Who Ran Away или the story of Bealfire

It all started with a boy that had Остаться в живых his father. This was not uncommon at that time because the country was at war, but he had not Остаться в живых his father in the war as the other boys had. He had Остаться в живых him to a great darkness that had consumed all that was good in his father, all that he had loved. This darkness went by the name of magic.

The father that had loved him, cared for him, comforted him when his mother had been killed was gone. Magic had killed him или was killing him and replacing him with a cruel man filled with hate that hurt everyone around...

I think one of the reasons I Любовь Rumple so much is the fact that he is quite possibly one of the most intelligent people on the Показать and he is definitely the best master manipulator. From the moment he Остаться в живых Bae through the portal he was looking for a way to get him back. He was so focused on reuniting with his son that every flashback scene he is in he is in some way working toward getting to the Land Without Magic.

Let's recap:

The moment he loses Bae through the portal he meets the Blue Fairy who he tricks into telling him that there is a curse that will take everyone there. There is no other...

This is another topic that seems to come up often on this spot. A good many people thing it was dumb of Regina to trust her mom and stupid of her to mourn her mom's passing. I just wanted to share my take on this issue. I'm not directing it at anyone person either, so I hope it doesn't come off like that to anyone. If it does, that's probably because some of my points are taken from Комментарии I previously typed (because I'm a lazyarse.) :P

To start off I'd like to point out that was all alone until her mother came to Storybrook, she literally had no one, no one at all. And then finally someone...

I Любовь Belle. I like that she's sweet, brave, willing to see the best in everyone and not afraid to say what she feels no matter what happens. She is the character that reminds me the most of myself. I like Rumple too mainly because of Robert Carlyle. Who can manage be both alluring and incredibly creepy even dressed as a sparkly imp. I've been a devoted fangirl since the Full Monty and OUAT has only encouraged that. However I can't support Rumbelle.

I know that the idea of seeing the best in someone and changing them for the better is very Популярное with most girls. I'll admit I've fallen for...

Graham's death was one of the most heart-breaking moments on OUAT. After watching the finale, I found it even еще so, and though I’ve always felt that he deserved a happy ending, I now believe it еще firmly than ever.

Let’s take a look at his life. He was abandoned to the Волки by this own parents. It is never revealed what age he was then или if he was even old enough for him to remember his parents when he got older. That is enough to make anyone bitter. Yet, he had a sense of honor that he apparently learned from the wolves.

Then one day, he gets sent by the Evil Queen to kill Snow White....
