Explaining!
Okay.....I have posted this question because i'm pissed!
Why? Because really annoying people - sorry but, well, you are annoying me, are going around saying Brooke is a mother because she is "good with kids".
So, i decided that Peyton, Lucas, Skills, Brooke AND Carrie are ALL parents!! You wanna know why? Because they are ALL good with kids!!!! WOW how cool is that!???

Well, okay so Carrie is crazy and i guess technically that would mean she would be a bad parent but i've decided since when we didn't think she was crazy - or you know just when she was MORE normal - she was actually really good with Jamie! I mean she was his best friend and REALLY good with him! So that means she's a mother rite? Well according to all the crazy Brooke fans - yeh! IT DOES make her a mother!

Anyway these are all the characters who we have seen interact well with kids! Which means (according to weird Brooke fans) that you are a parent!

So who do you think is the best parent???

BTW just to be sure you know i think that unless you adopt or give birth you are NOT a parent which includes Brooke.....BUT hey according to the majority of voters i'm wrong so i guess all these people are parents!

I LOVED the relationship between Skills&Jamie..Skills was so ADORABLE as a "parent" lol!
Then Peyton..Peyton&Jenny were so cute <<33!
And then Lucas and Brooke I guess!
I HATE McSlutty even when she acts as a normal person!

They werent all parents just because they interacted with kids doesnt mean they were parents. And out of these options I would say Brooke was the best mother because she actualy took care of a baby on her own. And since you are talking about relationships with kids...I think Brooke had the best chemistry with Jamie and I loved the relationship between Brooke and Jamie.

Exactly. NONE of them are parents. That was my point. This includes Brooke.

good poll ... but i guess i count as an annoying brooke fan because i still think she counts as a parent - people who adopt still count! but maybe because hers was sort of a temporary adoption she's a ... temporary parent?! :P
anyway despite what i just said about brooke ... i still pick skills! skamie are the best!

Anway, yeah, I disagree with the annoying Brooke fans who think that she'd make the best parent in the world. I mean, despite the fact that she was temporary fostering, she didn't have a CLUE what to get Angie etc. With the adoption, she was learning how to be a good parent, but you can't exactly say that she was amazing. By the end of it she was...
But I wasn't particularly a fan of the incredibly OC moment for Brooke, and her sudden desire to have a baby just to fill her loneliness. I prefer to think of it as long-term babysitting. :-/

i dont think too many 'crazy brooke fans' think brooke is a mom because she's good with kids. they class her as a mom because she fostered angie, which i guess is the debatable part. thats the point theyre trying to make, even if it doesnt come across like that.
i agree that youre not a parent unless you adopt or have a child, but i would agree with 'totally-sugar' that brooke was a temporary mom. which is why people are discussing her parenting skills. x

She wasn't a temporary mum she was a temporary carer the difference being that the child had parents - if they didn't perhaps you could have said temporary mum - though i wouldn't. To be a temporary mum i would say you have to look after someone much longer. Like years.

No i get their point as i've said above, i just happen to disagree - some - STILL apparently don't get mine! Unless you adopt or give birth i do not consider you a parent - FULL STOP. Discuss her parenting SKILLS - FINE! But if you decide she's a mother because she temporarily cared for a child i will call you Crazy Brooke fans =P

we say peyton with jenny and since she she has been through so mucg she can teach her kids a lot

Well at first I wondered by peyton was winning, then I thought about it...she took great care of jenny for longer than brooke babysat jamie or took care of angie. Jenny would cry for hours and peyton found ways to soothe her (got to know her in the process). Like the keys thing. Peyton took her out, put her to bed, played with her...she was great. and though peyton's storyline about interacting with that jaded preteen was cut in season 1, she was great with her too. and she touched that teenager who now lives in her house with her words (508). That's my fav peyton quote to date!

Brooke was good with angie, but she spoiled jamie. They were cute together but they were more like friends than godmother/godson. She gave him sweets constantly and watched soap operas with him (not age appropriate).

Luke was pretty good with jamie for the first 4 years of his life helping raise him till naley was back on their feet/less busy.
Skillz was good but doesn't have nearly enough screentime with kids to qualify him as the best.

and we all know carrie's a headcase so I won't even get into that :)

although i love peyton with jenny , why i picked her .. obv! but you missed one fault in it - when she lost her to nikki in the mall!

brooke - awesome with both - but she didnt really know how to calm angie down - like you said peyton did with jenny and the keys! and she fed jamie 2 scoops of ice cream and let him watch tv, which grumpy haley said not too!

skills - haha soo funny! he plays with him, he makes it as if jamies one of them which i think jamie loves! he looks out for him loads! his only fault is lettin him go the the bathroom on his own! hehe!

I to don't call any of them real parents but whatever....I'm not going to go there because people have stated all the reasons. Plus i have a long Brooke is not a parent rant I could put here but in all honesty I think its best I left it out for all the Brooke fan. I'll admit she was good with Angie but that is for another poll question.

Peyton with Jenny was so amazing I loved the moments of them together.

Broke is SO amazing with kids and everyone!!!! she isent hopelessly heartbroken and in love like peyton and crazy like nannie carrie shes just sweet and kind and da best parent ever

I think Brooke was really good with Angie! Lucas and Skillz are good too with Jamie :) And Carrie? What can I say? :P
