ALL OF THESE! The show should have ended a long time ago.

Season 7 was ok, it could've been good closure for the characters. Stupid Clay/Quinn :/

Actually I don't mind any of these things except for this one =P
I'm probably the last person who would say that OTH needs to end. Hell, it can go on forever, I don't mind :D My only problem is that it's gotten waaay too predictable and cheesy! You can barely enjoy the little drama that's left on the show because you just know how it's going to end and that everyone will live happily ever after.
After 4 perfect season finales - s4, s6, s7 (minus the cliffhangers) & s8 - it's like I don't even need a happy ending anymore. Just give me some drama that's not completely wasted, repetitive and pointless. Something unexpected. That's all.

I think that the season 6 ending would have been a perfect series finally. (And also season 4 finally). Everyone was happy and everything was perfect. It is just what a finally should be. Lucas and Peyton was two of the five main characters and without them the show isn't the same... I still watch it because it is my favourite show, but I miss them. I really hope they will return for the series finally.

I think we can all say that the writing started going down after season 5 and 6. I still loved the show then, but many people were done with OTH after season 5, but still stuck through season 6. I actually enjoyed season 6 but I know many people just watched it for there favorite character. So obviously continuing the show with out Leyton was going to make not only Leyton fans hate the show and stop watching, but fans of the indiviual characters. The season 6 finale was perfect. Leyton had a kid and were finally married, Haley's started singing again, Nathan got into the MBA, Brooke had her career and finally fell in love again. But then Mark had to ruin it by continuing the show. Not to mention he messed up all the characters and couples a long the way.

The show is way too cliche and predictable. I think regardless of changes in characters that it would be written that way and that that is its biggest flaw.

Definitely! Continuing the show after season 8 MAY not be such a bad thing. Since Leyton may be coming back they can end the series with ALL the core 5.

Dont get me wrong I love OTH but it has become way to happy everything is they do is just so boring now, I dont want the show to end I just wish there was some creative drama that was like in the first 5 seasons of the show........

One Tree Hill is a drama, lately aka S8 it just felt like something was missing, like essence of the show, the drama
The last drama we had was when Lydia died ,since then, all the plots were repetitive and boring and honestly it just felt too happy!

It's Mark's show and he can do with it what he wants. :)
