Did anyone else know this before me?

They are BOTH straight. The homosexual thing is a game, a Показать they put on for the ladies at the club. They both have crushes on Haruhi.

I did not know that. I only saw the anime, I get too confused with manga. I thought they were both bi, actually. W/e, LOL :)

Hahaha! :') I remember that! Me and my friend were arguing about this because she сказал(-а) that Kaoru was better than Hikaru and I was like, nuh uh, and I showed her that the Манга сказал(-а) handsome homosexual... Ahaha! :') She's never talked down to me since xD

i'm like, positive they're both straight. in the Манга did Ты not read the whole 'fight for haruhi' plot yet? pretending to be gay is for the club.

THEY ARE BOTH STRAIGHT! The Bi thing is just an act!! Ты know how they are, they're doing it for two reasons:
1. Buisness
2.Kicks

They are not GAY ! This "Twincest" is just in the host Club when Ты read the Манга Ты will see it cause Hikaru tells Haruhi that he Любовь here and Kaoru dose tell it her too

i know but it is weird that it just сказал(-а) Kaoru was homosexual and maybe Hikaru is bi (and i don't think Kaoru is because they're Актёрское искусство to get girls and they like haruhi)

When it mentioned the homosexual thing it was refering to the act, hatori just wrote it on kaoru's to not repeat herself. Even though, kaoru may be gay later in the Манга but it is not confirmed nor denied.

Hikaru is straight, there are no signs outside the act he may like men, and he defiantly likes women which is shown by his actions in both the Аниме and Манга towards haruhi.

It has been confirmed in the Манга by Hatori Bisco in a Q and A section that KAORU is gay, while HIKARU is straight. This is not touched on as much in the anime, as it focuses almost solely on Tamaki and Haruhi as the main pairing, versus the rest of the club's relationships.
