Caryn finished fixing ужин and told John that it was ready. As they ate, John said, "This is really good, Caryn." She said, "Thank you. My grandmother taught me how to cook." He said, "My grandmother taught me how to cook, too." Caryn smiled and said, "That's something cool that we have in common." After they finished eating, John helped Caryn wash the dishes. She said, "You didn't have to do that, John." He said, "I don't mind it. I've had to wash dishes most of my life anyway." She said, "Well, I appreciate your help." After that, she asked, "Are Ты ready to go in the pool?" He said, "We just ate. Aren't Ты supposed to wait an hour?" She laughed and said, "Turns out, that's a myth. You're no еще likely to drown или get cramps if Ты go swimming after Ты eat." John smiled a little at this, but it didn't make him feel much better. He knew he had to tell Caryn the truth. If he pretended everything was all right, it would create a dishonest relationship. As the two of them headed to the pool, John said, "Caryn, I have something to tell you." She asked, "What is it, John?" He said, "I, um, I'm afraid of water." She asked, "Why didn't Ты tell me?" He said, "I was afraid that Ты would be ashamed of me." She hugged him and said, "John, I Любовь you. I could never be ashamed of you, ever." He said, "Well, that's a relief." She said, "I could help Ты overcome your fear. Don't worry; I won't let Ты drown." He said, "Okay." He took a step closer. He then slipped and fell into the pool. John began to panic under the water. Which way was up? Just then, he felt someone pulled him to the surface. He coughed up some water, and he looked to see who helped him. It was Caryn. She was still holding on to him. She asked, "Are Ты okay?" He said, "I think so." She said, "No wonder you're scared of water. Has this happened to Ты a lot?" He said, "More than I care to admit, but that's not why I'm afraid of water." She asked, "What happened to make Ты so afraid?" He said, "When Pastor Thomas attempted to murder me for the секунда and final time, he shot me, and it caused me to fall into a river. I went under, and I couldn't see anything. Luckily, Peter jumped in to save me. I didn't come close to drowning, but it was close enough for me. As for the gunshot wound, the bullet didn't go in very deep. It only penetrated the skin." Caryn cried as she listened to the story. She said, "I'm so sorry this happened to you, but Pastor Thomas isn't here to hurt Ты now. On вверх of that, this water is shallow and calm. Ты don't have to swim. Just stand up." This made John feel confident. He stood Далее to Caryn and said, "Thanks, Caryn. I'm glad I told Ты about my fear." She said, "You're welcome. I'm glad about that, too."

Grace was just finishing her секунда год of high school. She enjoyed the experience for the most part. Although some of her Друзья had moved away within the last year, she still had a few good Друзья left. Later, she learned that for her third год of high school, she could double up and graduate early. She сказал(-а) to herself, "It might not be such a bad idea." Later, she talked with her friend, Michael. She said, "I'm thinking about doubling up for the coming school year." He asked, "Why would Ты want to do that?" I said, "Well, I get to graduate early if I do." He said, "The eleventh grade...

It was time to start school once again. I would be starting the seventh grade. After school, I immediately went jogging with my puppy, Redford and my friend, Brian. Unfortunately, Brian scared me at one point. He сказал(-а) to me, "Aubrey, we need to stop." I asked, "Why? What's wrong?" He said, "I feel light-headed." He then collapsed at my feet in a dead faint. Redford and I stayed close to Brian. I was prepared to let Redford off the lead to find help. Fortunately, after about thirty seconds, Brian came to. He asked, "What just happened?" I said, "You fainted. Are Ты okay?" He said, "I don't...

One day, I went jogging with my dog, Redford. As we were jogging, I tripped and fell. As I fell, my ankle made a horrible cracking sound. It sound like the snapping of a дерево branch breaking. I didn't try to get up at first. As I was lying there, Redford licked my face. I was still holding the lead, and he didn't offer to slip out of his воротник and run off. I only had Redford for a few weeks, and he was already strongly bonded to me. I tried to get up, but my ankle was really hurting. Reluctantly, I let Redford off of the lead and said, "Go get help!" He took off. I sat there and held my throbbing...

I went on the Internet and found a dog breed selector. It had a series of Вопросы regarding what I was looking for in a dog. The final results led me to a breed. It was the Siberian Husky, simply called Siberian или Husky. I read about it, and I really liked the description. I talked with my parents about it. One day, I heard my parents talking. My father said, "Aubrey has been wishing she had a jogging companion." My mother said, "Yes, and the Siberian Husky is good for that." One morning, my parents woke me up. They said, "Come on. We're going on a trip." I asked, "Where are we going?" My...

One day, I almost picked up a pair of scissors to cut myself with. My father hid the pocket нож from me. I then saw my guitar. As I was strumming, a few words began to pop into my head. I got a notebook I wasn't using otherwise and a pen, and I wrote some words down. They were very sad, but they seemed to give me some comfort. Just then, my mother came into my bedroom and said, "Aubrey, your Друзья are here." I came downstairs, and my Друзья Chelsea, Sam, and Brian were standing at the door. I said, "Hi, guys. What brings your here?" Chelsea said, "We're going to the mall. My mother is...

In the months after Jim's untimely death, I remained very sad. Jim and I used to enjoy jogging together. I still enjoyed jogging, but it got lonely doing it alone. None of my other Друзья were interested in that. The bullying really picked up. My remaining Друзья would stand up for me, but that didn't stop the bullies from bullying me. Sometimes they would beat me. Many times, I would pretend I needed to use the restroom so that I could be alone to cry. One day, when I was sitting at home, I saw a pocket knife. I honestly don't know what I was thinking, if I was thinking at all, but I began...

Jim and I were two kids growing up in the foothills of North Carolina. We were the best of friends. We did everything together. We even had numerous inside jokes. We very seldom disagreed. When we did, it was always over something stupid. In the end, we would always make up and laugh about how ridiculous we were. Jim and I loved each other in a way that only best Друзья could. We even had the same birthday. We never thought that we would ever separate, but one day, we did. One day, when we were only twelve, we were riding the bus to go home. Suddenly, the bus slipped on a patch of ice. The...

The members of New Religion went to the recording studio to record a humorous song that Erin had written. Lola said, "I admire that Ты were able to keep your humor, despite being injured." Erin said, "Sometimes bad things happen, and there's nothing Ты can do about it." Paul said, "That's true. I feel silly for suggesting we leave Miami." Carl said, "Don't feel silly, Paul. Oak Ridge is safer in terms of crime. Besides, no place is one hundred percent safe." Erin said, "Carl's right. Living in fear of bad things happening is the worst way to live. The members of New Religion went to the airport to fly to Oak Ridge. The Собаки had to ride in crates in a different compartment. The flight went smoothly. The only problem was that one of Paul's Собаки howled the entire time. If anyone asked, he denied ownership. Everyone made it to Oak Ridge all right. Once they arrived at their new home, Erin, Paul, Carl, and Lola unpacked their things and settled in. That night, they instantly went to bed. They were exhausted from their trip. It was the summer of 2017. This summer was a little sad, but it also had happy points. Early in the summer, I was sitting in my bedroom. I heard the doorbell ring, and I heard my uncle say "I'll get it." I then heard an unfamiliar voice say "Would Ты be willing to take this puppy? My son doesn't want her. I intended for her to be a gift for his tenth birthday, but he threw her against the wall. He probably broke her leg." My uncle said, "And Ты didn't take her to the vet?!" The unfamiliar voice said, "No." My uncle said, "You know what, I'll gladly take this щенок from you! Now, get off of...

When I started the eleventh grade in August 2016, I was still grieving over Millie. One day, I had a talk with the guidance counselor at my school. The summer of 2016 started out rather badly. One day, my aunt and uncle and I visited with my paternal grandparents. As we were heading back home, we noticed these two idiots racing each other in their trucks. My uncle tried to avoid them, but there was nowhere he could go to avoid them. They hit the car and drove off without any regard for what they had done. We all got out to see the damage. My aunt said, "It looks pretty bad. I'm glad everyone's all right." She then noticed me staggering. She said, "Autumn, you're hurt." I was taken to the hospital, covered in blood. I had several cuts and...

It was August 2015. My Друзья and I started the tenth grade, our секунда год of high school. The school год was mostly good. When Glenn turned seventeen, I came to his birthday party. It was the summer of 2015. One day, Glenn came to me in a state of excitement. He said, "I have some really good news!" I said, "Oh, my. What is it, Glenn." Pretty soon, it was time to start school again. My Друзья and I were starting the ninth grade, our first год of high school. Glenn and I were particularly nervous. One day, some bullies surrounded Glenn. The ring leader asked, "What's up with the cheesy accent?" He said, "I'm from Liverpool, England." The ring leader said, "Oh, you're from the town of those insects. That explains your trashy haircut. Ты should be beaten for that!" I said, "Don't Ты dare beat my friend! The summer of 2014 was perhaps one of the most touching summers in the eighteen years of my life. I decided that it was time for me to admit to Glenn that I used to practice self-harm. I said, "Glenn, I think it's time Ты know the truth about my scars." He asked, "What's the truth?" I said, "Before we met, I was a constant target for bullying." He said, "I know you've been bullied, but I don't think Ты told me the details." I said, "Well, the bullies would often abuse me verbally and physically. To cope, I would take a pocket knife, and I cut." This made Glenn cry. He said, "I'm so sorry....

The eighth grade was the worst school год for me. There were a few good parts, but it was mostly bad. First, I had two people who сказал(-а) they were my Друзья betray my trust. One day, I went in the bathroom. I found written on one of the stalls, "Autumn is a slut puppy." To make matters worse, other people knew about it. All I heard that день was, "Look! There's the slut puppy!" I fell into Glenn's arms and cried....
