So, yah. I love this couple and all (BEST PAIRING EVAA!) but, if they date, what will happen?

Okay, say they DID hit it off. Marlene will be the target of all Skipper's enemies, and if they DID have a "pengotter" then that freaky child of theirs will also get targeted by enemies and maybe captured by scientist to get discected. "Omg, a new species!" says a Science-lover. "Let us disect it to learn about it's internal organs! :3"

And there IS that whole not working out thing. Then all out dreams will be RUINED! D:

A little date? Sure :3 I love Skilene so much ^^ But as Icicle said... if they (for example) get married or something... ugh? I don't like the idea of that. I'm a weirdo and I love secret-love, like they are not sure of they own feelings, too shy ^^ Ahhh.. in my daydream they are just like that :D Not even a couple still ^^ and I like it that way ;D

I'm totally with Icicle on this one, and I have been like this for a long time. I can't stand when shows have their main characters dating (luckily, some are smart enough that, if they do kiss or something, it's the end of the series). It ruins a lot bit time. I.e. Jimmy Neutron. It got bad once Jimmy and Cindy became a couple. Oh, and ICARLY! I am "this" close to losing interest of the show because it's slowly dying. Mainly because of Sam and Freddie. I totally support their pairing, too, but...oh, just they pushed it. It's like they're torturing me! They were sweet in iOMG and iLostMyMind, but not anymore...

So while I also support Skilene, I don't want them dating. If they did, this pairing might die out for me, and they might even ruin the show for me.

@Karenkook-I guess it's because there's a big choice here: have Skilene dating but with bumps in the road or even a breakup, or no Skilene dating at all. And, in the end, for the former, their friendship could be destroyed and it would change the episode a little, or even a lot. Their friendship is too much to end out badly because of dating.

Eh, I like Skilene at a distance. But in the series? NO. I agree with Icicle.
Besides, IF the creators made them have a pengotter, imagine how many fans they would lose because of the parents thinking it was innapropiate. IDK, it just seems that way to me.

When it comes to Skilene, I have long believed that any feelings the two might have for each other must first have a solid foundation in friendship and trust. This does not mean that I wouldn't want the two to date, but that the ideal time to date probably wouldn't be tomorrow or next week. Good things take time to develop.

As for "pengotters," they are purely a thing of fan fiction, and will always remain as such. And while I would absolutely be against dissecting one if one ever came about, nothing says that Skipper and Marlene must engage in any offspring-resultant activities as part of a relationship to begin with.

Lol, I know 'Pengotters' Will NEVER exsist, but people seem to be into that. O_O XD
