True story: A while back, a car exploded about 3 doors down from my house. The blast shook the house and there was a bright flash and, literally, the first thing I thought was that a nuclear bomb had exploded. I was actually relieved when I realized that it was just a car that was on fire.

The loud BAM coiuld mean so many things first I go and investigate and when I know what it is I'll Check on my family.

Around here it depends on which kind of big BAM!...
Either somebody just crashed into somebody's car or house, or someone's shooting.
I don't have a car, and I don't want to possibly get shot, so either way, I stay away from the windows. I've already had the car crash into the house happen.
