Normally I like keeping my starter with me at all times. However in Alpha Sapphire I didn't want my starter to get too over leved so I put it away in the PC but that was temporary and the second time was in X with Chesnaught..however this time it wasn't temporary..and those are the only times I've put my starters in the PC.

I've always kept my starter except for once, and it was Snivy. I kept him up until Serperior, but I haaated him and ditched him to the PC.

I did kept Typhlosion until after the post-game in Pokemon Gold Version where I replaced my Typhlosion with Houndoom as my Fire-type, because I don't like Typhlosion that much.
