I was talking on the phone with my best friend, Spencer Malnik, when Prince, my older brother, came on the other end.

"Prince, hang up!" I said.

"No, I need to use the phone." Prince replied.

"Whoa... I can see you two are busy... So.. Bye, Par," Spencer said.

I sighed. "Okay. Bye, Spence."

Prince dialed a number. "You know? I'm calling Dad."

"Dad? He's busy."

"Nah. He'll always have time for us."

"I guess you're right..."

"No kidding."

I listened as Prince dialed Dad's number. I so badly wanted to see Dad again. I missed him.

"Hello...?" A sleepy voice answered.

"Dad? It's Prince."

"And Paris."

"Well, hello, you two. What's wrong? Why did you call?"

I felt choked up. "No... I just miss you, Daddy."

"I miss you too, dumpling."

Prince coughed. "Okay. Paris, just call me when it's my turn."

Prince's line went dead.

"Daddy... when are you coming back?" I asked. My voice was shaky.

"Soon, sweetheart."

"Daddy... I miss you. Blanket too, and Prince."

"I miss you all too. How's your studies?"

"It's good, Daddy."

"Well, sweetheart. I love you. L.O.V.E."

Tears rolled down my cheeks. I sniffled. "I love you too, Daddy. L.O.V.E."

"Don't cry, Paris. We'll see each other soon, okay?"

"Okay, Dad. I'm going to call Prince now."

I stumbled into the living room. "Prince, it's your turn."

Prince ran to the phone. "Hello, Dad?"

I ran to my room, sobbing. How I missed my Daddy....
