Princess Diana's final love nest could be yours for $140 million.
Dodi Al Fayed and Princess Diana are pictured near the luxurious St Tropez home just nine days before they were both killed in the Alma Tunnel.
The advertisement for the villa described it as a "superb waterfront property".
The villa has three reception area, secondary accommodation and accommodation for staff.
One of the seven bedrooms, complete with stunning views. There are also seven bathrooms.
The swimming pool is enough to tempt even the most water-hating person in for a dip.
The French Riviera villa where Dodi Al Fayed wooed Diana Princess of Wales is for sale - but you probably can\'t afford it.
The palatial Castle St Therese, in St Tropez, has an asking price of £70 million (NZ$140m), Britain\'s Daily Mail reports.
This is the property where the 42-year-old Egyptian tycoon began romancing Diana; it is also where they spent their final holiday. The couple were pictured at the salubrious property on August 22, 1997. Nine days later they were dead, their car crashing at high speed in the Alma Tunnel shortly after leaving the Ritz Hotel.
Insiders said the interiors of the villa would barely have changed in the near-18 years since Diana had been there, the Mail reported.
Photos by estate agents Knight Frank show just how luxurious the property is, with a description calling it "a superb waterfront property".
"There is a principal villa at the height of the property with spectacular sea views, a waterfront villa with its own pool, plus further independent staff and guest accommodation," it reads.
For your $140m, you\'ll get seven bedrooms and bathrooms, three receptions, a spa, pool, tennis court, a mooring for your yacht, staff accommodation, outbuildings and 4.15 acres (1.6 hectares) of land.
Following the couple\'s death a number of conspiracy theories surfaced, though an inquest later ruled that Diana and Al Fayed were unlawfully killed by the frossly negligent driving of their chauffeur, Henri Paul, and the paparazzi pursuing them.
In a letter 10 months before the crash Diana predicted she would be murdered.
Al Fayed\'s father, Harrods store owner Mohamed Al Fayed, accepted the verdict and then gave up his attempts to show the couple were murdered. He had accused Queen Elizabeth\'s husband Prince Philip, Diana\'s former father-in-law, of ordering British security services to kill her and stop her marrying a Muslim and having his baby.
Diana\'s bodyguard Trevor Rees was the sole survivor of the crash. He suffered horrific facial injuries, but survived because he was wearing a seatbelt.
