So many people have started bitching about the show. Saying that the quality of the green-screening is crap and that the dialogue was boring and sometimes pointless...but here's how I see it (from a SMG fan's perspective).
Sarah has been away from TV for what...8 years? Everybody is always complaining that she has done too many failed Фильмы (some of which did better than what people said!) and that she should return to television. Well guess what people, she has. And how do Ты repay her? Ты trash her work!
The problem is is that people expect this to be Buffy and it wont be, she сказал(-а) that herself. She's going in an entirely different direction as she has matured and people need to get over that! She. Is. Not. Really. Buffy. Buffy is a character...
...anywhoo. People are also bashing the directing/green-screening/script/...mirrors (I don't know why either) because they are expecting this to be some sort of blockbuster movie! It was a pilot. People don't pay millions of dollars for a pilot that may или may not get picked up! Obviously the budget wasn't huge, but they did their best with what they had and they did a pretty good job.
Finally, the other actors.
"What the hell is wrong with that Andrew's accent?" is one of the Вопросы that I heard...um, nothing. Ioan's Welsh, that dosent mean that there is anything wrong with it.
"How come the bloke who's looking after Bridget is wearing guyliner?"...watch Lost. Google Nestor...you'll find that he isn't wearing "guyliner".
"That Gemma sound's like a man!!! Loololololol!!" ...this is getting borderline offensive now!
"Henry's a f*cking d*ck!! Officially hate Christopher Polaha!" ...*facepalm* Really? Do Ты really want an response to that?
Seriously...some people.
I personally thought that Ringer was very good for a pilot. Yeah, maybe the Музыка was off at some of the еще dramatic moments but it was genuinely nice to watch. People just need to broaden their minds a little. Have faith in the show, it could be something amazing.
