Just grabbing five минуты here on our день off here in Springfield, MA and thought I’d drop Ты all a line to let Ты know how things are going!Well the tour has started off with a bang! The crowds have been fantastic and are definitely making this the best tour so far!! Someone asked me the other night what has been the highlight so far and I can honestly say that each Показать has brought something different and great. Of course playing Radio City Музыка Hall is always special because of its history and status and this time around did not disappoint! In fact, I think that I was probably able to take it all in a little better this time than in 2008 because, I suppose, I’m little older and wiser….well, I’m definitely a little older!
While in NYC on the день before the Radio City gig, I took in a Показать on Broadway. I went to see "American Idiot" – the new Broadway musical based on the Музыка of Green Day. The Музыка and Пение was absolutely amazing, but, to make it even еще special, just by chance, the one night I went to it, one of the lead roles was played by the actual lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong! What a voice!! It was definitely a very special night to be there!!
Well, of course, the main topic that anyone I chat to Ты at the shows или on Twitter, MySpace and Facebook seems to be my forthcoming album. I just want to take this opportunity to thank Ты all for your kind words and Комментарии in relation to the two teasers of "The Village That They Call "The Moy" and "Broken Things" that I Опубликовано over the last few weeks. I’m so pleased that Ты like the arrangements and what Ты are hearing and I hope Ты will like the other nine tracks just as much when the album is released. Speaking of which, the album is currently being pressed in Лондон and, I’m told should be ready in no longer than two weeks. It will then get shipped to CDbaby.com ready for purchase! And, as promised, I can now reveal that the album will be called "In Time." Ты can make up your own conclusions as to the reasoning behind this Название choice!! Similarly, I have been speaking with my website creator today and he assures me that everything should be ready to go very soon!! I’m hoping this will be before the official album release date. As ever, I will keep Ты all posted!
Also, I’m very excited to announce that merchandise to accompany the CD will be available to buy from this Friday. I, again, will post the link on Friday.
So, with that, I’ll bid Ты all farewell for now. I think I’ll get a little ESPN in before bed. The life of a rock and roll star, eh?!
