I have resembled Sean Connery for most of my adult life. I was told daily,do Ты know who Ты look like ? I would joke and reply,Roger Moore. I have never met a Roger Moore look-alike BTW. Seems in my business they have a look-alike for just about everybody. It is truly a group of amazingly talented individuals who do this for a livelihood. I started out years назад by going to Las Vegas and attending a look-alike convention. I had no idea how much fun it could be looking like someone else,let alone a Иконка like Sir Sean. I have traveled to all kinds of places,meeting wonderful people. Of course no matter how truthful Ты are about it,some just refuse to believe Ты are a impersonator.
I have been mobbed at airports,restaurants and events with James Bond Фаны as well as Sean Connery fans.There is a difference here. I mostly work as James Bond for Corporate events and speak as Sean Connery with the accent when I do attend any event,but sometimes I am asked to appear as Sean Connery in a kilt, like last year. I had the honor to march up 5th ave. in The NYC St. Patrick's день parade with"The Families of the Fallen". Man,it was cold,raining & snowing but I was filled with pride and hardly felt it. Truly,a tremendous honor,marching in a kilt as Sean Connery in NYC. Well,after the parade I met the most wonderful people from all over the World and yes,They all thought I was him but of course if I was asked,are Ты Sean I would say no,but not one person asked that question. It was a time of celebration and boy did we celebrate. I just missed Daniel Craig walking past one of the many Irish pubs we visited that day. He was watching the parade I suppose and went for a pint at the same pub just a few moments earlier because when I walked in with six firefighters and three of NYC finest they all yelled,first DC and now Sean Connery. It was a grand time. So people always ask why do Ты do this for a living,act like Sean Connery. Once again,I joke and tell them because after thirty years of working on Telephone lines this is a hell of a lot еще fun and pays better. I could tell lot's of Bond stories, but I will save that for my book in a few years. I have met many of the real Bond people and all are so gracious and nice,very complementary. I was in Vegas, working with George Lazenby who played James Bond just once in 1969 in "Her Majesty's Secret Service. He says,the ladies, they all think your Sean Connery. I сказал(-а) George,yes,that's a good thing. He looks at me and says, well "you do look like him'. In the words of Sean Connery when asked how long do Ты think people will see Ты as James Bond 007. He replied until I am in the box. That is my answer as well when asked how long will Ты be a look-alike to Sir Sean.
