Could Severus Snape hold a relationship?

Severus could еще than likely have and hold a relation but the conditions would have to be right.

Yes, I believe Sev could hold a relationship, but he would really have to want it. Not everyone does. It would depend on a variety of variables.

2) Stubborn, hard-headed.
3)Understanding and patient - he's got a lot of scars and it's going to take a lot of time before he can Переместить past them.

I believe Severus had a great capacity to love, even though he was never shown much Любовь as a child. It’s telling that the only person he loved was Lily although he did not know how to tell her. When he went to Hogwarts he was with his own kind, but found it difficult to connect with the other students, probably because he had never known friendship или companionship, he was scruffy and never had the right clothes, so he clung to Lily who knew him, but she was in a different house. She was one of those ‘beautiful people” who find it SO easy to make friends. She left him behind.
When Lily died he was devastated, he became infatuated with the idea of what could have been, if he had done things differently, he believed Lily might have loved him one day.
I think if he’d have met the right woman, a patient, kind, intelligent and loving woman, a few years after Lily’s death, she may have healed him and shown what true Любовь is. After a hesitant start Severus would have realized that Lily was never for him, he would have still felt guilt about Lily’s death, but he would found how to Любовь and allow himself to be loved.

Oh, he definitely could've held a relationship. I think he would've looked for one after Voldemort was defeated if he was able to feel like his debt to Lily was paid and he could Переместить on. He would also want to feel like he was protecting someone.

She would have to be:
1. Inteligent, clever, and a skilled witch
2. Have a good sense of sarcastic humor
3. Ready to stand by his side through any situation
4. Quiet but able to have a conversation with him when the time was right
5. Forgive him for any past misdeeds, and Любовь him for the person he has become

He would care for her, be a wonderful husband. I don't believe he would be abusive like his father.

I think if he told Lily how he felt, then it have worked bettween hem. but i surpose things have to happen and maybe it was for the best anyway. If he did go out with her though i think that they would take it slow before it got serious between them. I also think Lily would have been the right person for him. She always protected him and looked out for him and was there always.
