I think if Lily had had any romantic feelings for Severus ever, she would have made them known, in some way.

Sadly no... I ship Sev & Lily and think they would have made a great couple but the Любовь was one-sided she loved the bully not the right choice from my pov
People, especially young people, tend to forget that Ты can Любовь someone very much without those feelings being romantic in any way. Lily loved Severus but her feelings were strictly platonic. I've often wondered what would have happened if Lily had let Severus finish before storming off...when she demands of him "why should I be any different?" Ты have to know what his reply was going to be...it was right there on his lips..."because I Любовь you," but of course, he never got to say those words. Ever.
