By the close of the секунда week after the "incident" in the bathroom, James Potter was still to shoked to speak. He ahd never expected any Slytherin to react that way. Let alone Snivellus! Everytime he passed Snivellus and Lily he choked down his pride. He had a not so hidden fear of what severus would do to him if he acted out again.
