The only thing that's keeping me from loosing my virginity is the fear of getting pregnant, what do Ты think i should do?

Sex can complicate and/or enhance a current relationship, and good sexual chemistry is imperative to a healthy relationship. If Ты want to have sex, and feel like Ты are physically, emotionally and mentally mature to handle it, then the fear of pregnancy shouldn't hold Ты back. There are plenty of good reasons NOT to have sex, but that isn't necessarily one of them.

Condoms are very effective. Though there's still a tiny chance that pregnancy will occur, they also protect Ты from STDs, which is also super important! If you're not satisfied with condoms alone, I suggest seeing your gynecologist for a birth control prescription for a fail safe. Condoms in conjunction with the pill are practically fool proof. Several couples use this method all the time.

That being said, please keep in mind that I am in no position to tell Ты when to have sex. That's a choice Ты ALONE can make, and not anyone else. I'm assuming that Ты feel like you're old enough, and that you're mature enough, and that the ONLY THING STOPPING Ты is fear of pregnancy.

However, maybe Ты should consider if this IS the only thing holding Ты back. We often like to make excuses to ourselves to mask the real reasons we don't want to do things. Maybe there's something else keeping Ты from having sex that has absolutely nothing to do with pregnancy. Just think about it for a while, and make sure you're being honest with yourself. That's my advice, anyway.

if that IS the only reason then i wouldn't worry too much, as long as Ты use protection you'll be fine. condoms are 97% effective and also protect against S.T.I s, however there are plenty of other methods of birth control Ты can use (but I'm sure Ты know that =))

i haven't had sex yet myself to know but if Ты are afraid that when Ты have sex you'll end up pregnant Ты can try condoms and birthcontrol together. Chances are Ты won't end up pregnant if Ты use both

I completely understand your fear of getting pregnant - I myself have a huge phobia but honestly most contraception is at least 98% effective!! my Совет is if Ты are seriously worried use both the pill and condoms - then ur pretty much 100% protected ( plus if Ты use condoms u won't get an STD)!
However make sure ur also emotionally ready, often this kind of fear is just a sympton of greater underlining doubts about sex.

If Ты are at a stage where pregnancy will ruin your life in еще ways then one, I strongly suggest Ты wait. Its hard at school, and i know form experience, because if Ты are to fall pregnant it can mess up your schooling, your relationships with family and Друзья and if Ты are to terminate the pregnancy that can lead to psychological disorders such as depression later on down the track. In saying that, I am currently sexually active andi am in my last год of schooling. i told my parents (not easy and not pleasant), they handles it like any parent would but its still hard. I then talked to my mum (dada или gran, или even a close friend или auntie will do) about contraceptives and what not and i decided to go on the Pill (Levlin Every day) i whent to my doctor and got a prescription for it and now i also use condoms aswell just as back up as there are things than can mess up the effects of the pill....if pregnancy really is the only thing keeping Ты from loosing it, your reading, your in a loving and respectful relationship (ask one of your Друзья if they think thats true, since gus girls seem to be a little deluded when it comes to men) then by ll means if Ты are truly ready, talk to Ты mum, Друзья boyfriend and go on some contraceptive that works well for you...also i know Ты dont know me, but if Ты feel Ты have no one to talk to just send me a message, ill be there for you. i know how hard this stuff can be and i may be able to help....hope that helped
