What's your favourite insect? Why?

I think mine is a ladybird. I always find it strange, but nice, that even the most horrible destructive little brat usually wont harm a ladybird on purpose, at least I've never come across one that would. Also, people with insect phobias tend not to mind ladybirds either. Most people always tend to go out of there way to save a ladybird if they see one in danger. It's like we humans have an atavistic Любовь of ladybirds, like we owe them some great debt! :D
