Sophia: (On the ending of her relationship with actor Jon Foster) We broke up, like, a год ago… I am single. We are really good friends. We keep in touch, and we Любовь each other to death… Ты can Любовь somebody, and not be in Любовь with them, and I think that was a really valuable lesson. We weren't ready to get married, but it definitely doesn't mean we don't care about each other.

Sophia Bush: (On being single) The only two men I have time for are Barack Obama and my trainer.

Sophia Bush: (On finding out Kevin Federline would guest-star on One дерево Hill) We're looking up blogs, going "Have Ты seen this?" And we're going, "That's not real! We would know if he was coming." And then our creators were like, "No, he's really coming."

Sophia: To be happy, it first takes being comfortable being in your own shoes. The rest can work up from there.

Sophia: (About having to shoot at night for her movie "The Hitcher") It's been great Ты know I think it's good because we've been on nights for a месяц now so your pretty much used to it. It's telling on me because I usually sleep about five hours a night and on night shoots I've been sleeping a full eight hours every day. Ты know I think it has something to do with your body clock being off, and something to do with how physical the movie is. It's been really interesting because I'm a person who doesn't sleep and now I do. So it's great!

Sophia: (About what she like about "Stay Alive") What I like about it too is that it merges two sides of horror movies. It isn't just a slasher flick. Yes, it's a horror film and we've got some gore, we've got the scary stuff in it, but a lot of it's really psychological. In fact, it's suspense, it's that thrill, that panic of that noise that terrifies, of those little things that make Ты want to look over your shoulder.

Sophia Bush: (On what first attracted her to Stay Alive) The thing that made me so eager to read it was that it is one of McG's projects. I really respect all of the work that he does.

Sophia Bush: (On her Избранное horror films) I loved The Ring and I loved the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. When I was little we tortured ourselves watching Poltergeist and then not being able to sleep.

Sophia Bush: I don’t care what the press is about a person that I’m working with. I care about how they come to work every day. I don’t care who broke up with who или who is sleeping with who или who went out where. I don’t care what Ты do with your personal life. It’s when people take their personal lives into a Космос where it affects their performance at work, that’s when I would stop taking someone seriously.

Sophia Bush: What I think makes it difficult to not be taken seriously is falling on your face drunk all the time или running around without your underwear on. It’s not that difficult to get dressed, and it’s not that difficult to keep yourself under a level of control.

Sophia Bush: (On the worst pick up line she's heard) I don't know if I can pick a worst, I've heard some pretty bad things in my life. I'm just one of those people I've gotten to a point where I don't want to be rude, but if it's uninvited attention from people it's like, "Thank you, but no." I'm going to shut Ты down right away. I'm not interested.

Sophia Bush: I think the sexiest thing on anybody is intelligence. I respect somebody who has a brain and wants to use it еще than a pretty face and status.

Sophia Bush: I think it's easy for people to assume that fame is equal to glory, but it can be a very isolating experience...

Sophia Bush: [On Brooke Davis in season five] Brooke is doing a lot. She has become a pseudo celebrity in her own right, Ты know, getting stalked by paparazzi and going to glitzy events. She has sort of ascended into everything she ever thought she wanted and more.

Sophia Bush: In the initial season of a show, you're figuring out your character and their life and their background and you're putting together all the chapters of the book.

Sophia: (On her role in Stay Alive) She's so different from anybody I've gotten to play which was what drew me to it. Aside from the fact that the script is great, original and creepy as hell, the character is very, very cool. She's such a bad ass. She's a rough around the edge girl and fits into this sect that is of New Orleans"

Sophia: Fashion is in my blood. Growing up, I was always clacking around the house in my mother's shoes.

Sophia куст, буш (On The Hitcher) If Grace, my character, had just been running around screaming, I wouldn't have done the movie.

Sophia куст, буш (On which historical figure she most identifies with): Wow, that’s difficult. I can’t say that I identify with him, but I have a wonderful фото of Gandhi and his family, by Margaret Bourke-White, which I keep close everywhere I go. I look at it every день and remind myself to be inspired by the things he achieved and the way he did them.

Sophia Bush: I’m a bit of a worrier, to an extreme. I’ll crack a joke, then worry if I’ve offended someone—even when they’re laughing. I have a guilt complex, always worrying.

Sophia куст, буш (On Miami): I Любовь that city, it’s so alive. I Любовь the whole Latin, subtropical vibe. It’s a very sexy energy, very invigorating, a wonderful place to vacation.

Sophia Bush: Of course, everybody makes mistakes, and we’ve all been young and stupid. But people need to have a sense of respect, particularly in this business, because hundreds of people are ready to take your place at any time. Maybe some people should think about that. Me, I’d prefer to have a good reputation rather than getting press for being scandalous, getting drunk in public, staying out late and so on.

Sophia Bush: Ты know, my parents have always been incredibly supportive. I’m an only child, so we’re very close. There’s just the three of us. They’re exceptional parents but also great friends. My father was able to take his hobby, photography, and turn it into a beautiful career. So when they saw how much I loved acting, they were 100 percent behind me.

Sophia Bush: I was lucky. My family is wonderful. And it’s funny, because most of my best Друзья come from very large families. So it always felt as if I had lots of siblings, though in the end I had to leave them and go home. I kind of got the best of both worlds as a kid.

Sophia куст, буш (On whether she could recall her first role): No, but I remember that for a while I tried various other theatrical jobs besides acting. I’m an obsessively organized person, and one time I decided I’d try to work on a school play as the Благодарности manager. It was a wonderful experience, but really overwhelming. But it gave me such respect for people who do it as a living. That’s why I’m so good with my Благодарности now. I always put them back; it’s just habit. I learned that in high school, looking after Благодарности and wardrobe.

Sophia (When asked to Комментарий on Paris Hilton's jail sentence): If Ты don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Sophia Bush: I'd rather hang out with five people that I Любовь than with 400 strangers at a club who are all doing the up-and-down inspection thing. They appraise everybody from head to toe - the outfit, the handbag, the shoes, how much they weigh...I can't stand it!

Sophia Bush: I enjoy getting riled up, and nothing's gonna do that for Ты like a good scary movie.

Sophia: Life is too short, and I'm Italian. I'd much rather eat макаронные изделия, макароны and drink wine than be a size 0.

Sophia: (about her character Brooke, in One дерево Hill) She kinda stopped validating herself just from male attention and started figuring out what she needed to do to make herself happy, which is huge because I think that's... a pretty big lesson in life in general.

Sophia: I own four copies of Robin WIlliams's Live on Broadway comedy special for HBO. One in Wilmington, one in L.A., one in my trailer, and one at my parents' house. I can watch it over and over again and it never gets old. He is the funniest, wittiest man on the planet!
Sophia: Getting wasted is only OK when you're young enough to not know better.

Sophia Bush: People care about my personal life. But really I'm dorky! I drink пиво and go to football games. And ya know, sit in my house in a t-shirt on the weekends and play with my dog!

Sophia Bush: (in reference to the portrayal of strong women in cinema) I think what's exceptional about that is typically in the sociology of our culture, we're so used to those gender roles of the women being supported and it's wonderful when Ты see that that's really not how it is. Because sorry to say, women run the house. They run the family. They hold things up. I mean, it's like Ты don't ever see your mom get sick because she handles everything. And it's kind of amazing I think to Показать people just how strong women are. And people enjoy it. And I think people want to see women that reflect women in their lives that they know now.

Moira Kelly: (about Sophia) Sophia is all girl. She has the most amazing presence. She is very sexy and she doesn't even know it. I don't think Chad stood a chance. No, not at all.

Sophia Bush: Life throws some curveballs at Ты and Ты go where it takes you.

Sophia Bush: (about her character Brooke, in One дерево Hill) Brooke doesn't apologize for herself. I Любовь that about her! She's like: Look this is me. This is what I like. This is what I do. Take it или leave it... She's like any other woman who is not quite comfortable in her own skin, she goes Главная and cries when she is alone.

Sophia: I get to experiment with a lot of looks with my character so that's really fun for me. It's like getting to paint a new canvas everyday.
Sophia: We've all known a John Tucker. We've either known one, dated one или our best friend has dated one. I think a lot of men at one point или another have been a John Tucker.

Sophia: I get to do what I Любовь every day. I get to crawl into someone else's head and I Любовь that.

Sophia: I want to get married again and have kids and even adopt.

Sophia: I've always been the long-term relationship, go-home-and-meet-mom girl.

Sophia: Brooke and I share some similarities. We're both passionate, fiercely loyal people. But she is far еще outlandish than I'd ever be, particularly with her body and her sexuality. Brooke has made herself weak for men - she only gained self-confidence from their attention.

Sophia: I was a total education geek. I loved school. I loved learning. I loved doing homework. All of my Книги and notebooks from high school are underlined and highlighted and there are notes all over the margins. And Ты know, I was a theater kid too. I was all over the place.

Sophia: I'm not a celebrity. I don't call myself a celebrity. I'm an actor.

Sophia: I wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid, but I started doing theater in high school because it was a requirement. At first, I was completely irritated. Ты know, at the time I was playing volleyball, and I just thought it was a major inconvenience. But I ended up loving it. I made a decision to follow through with it because I never enjoyed anything as much as being up onstage and being someone else. So I decided to pursue it, and voila!

Sophia (On Поцелуи Brittany Snow in John Tucker Must Die): Oh it was so funny. Everybody was so nervous about it. We were just like, let's go for it. Let's make some people laugh. The boy, the young boy who sees us Kiss in the movie, genuinely freaked out the first time he saw it. He couldn't get his line out, and we Остаться в живых it. It was hysterical. It was Поцелуи anyone else.

Sophia: I'm not much of a revenge person, because I think when Ты start with revenge it cheapens what you've been through. My rule is to hold your head high and never stop looking that person in the eye, because they know and Ты know, and you're still the professional. And they can just feel like an жопа, попка for the rest of their lives. That's my Избранное thing to do.

Sophia: I've always been the mom among all of my buddies and really a caretaker and definitely the girl who can go out and hang with the boys and be comfortable.

Sophia: It devastates me now that I have been reduced to a Hollywood statistic - another joke marriage.

Sophia: Marriage is not about age; it's about finding the right person.

Sophia: To be happy, it first takes being comfortable being in your own shoes. The rest can work up from there.

Sophia: The hardest situation to stay happy in, I think, is when you're trying to find love, and yourself at the same time. It just doesn't seem to fit well.

Sophia (on faking it): Brooke is definitely confident shall we say, she is daring, she is a little wild. She does everything on the planet that I would have never done, in high school, I mean I read the scripts and I think: I can't do this! She's a role model of what not to do! She sets examples of what can really hurt Ты if Ты let it, if Ты take things too far.

Sophia (on best friends): Brooke and Peyton are dealing with a lot right now in terms of betrayals and trust and getting through what has gone on in the past. Confronting these things is really important because best Друзья are the most important support system Ты can find in high school.

Sophia (on getting free stuff): I still get excited. Ты think, 'Really? I can have it?' And sometimes people want to give Ты more, and it's like 'Two?'

Sophia: Mystery makes movie stars! If Ты see someone on the cover of the weeklies all the time, why would Ты want to pay to see them in a movie?

Sophia (on Law & Order: SVU): Oh! That's my all-time favorite. I met the cast last year. When Richard Belzer shook my hand and I looked him in the eye, I was having сердце palpitations. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't breathe. I'll be fine in a second." And he said, "Over us? Really?" I have every episode of every season TiVo'd. I freaked out.

Sophia (on kareoke): We've done some serious Notorious B.I.G. songs, which is really amusing - 100 people staring at the geekiest little white girls in the bar, screaming Biggie at the вверх of their lungs.

Sophia (on being part of young Hollywood): We have normal lives. We're not getting big egos out here like those people who are constantly chauffered around and going to parties every night. A lot of people in this business seem to think their entitled to extra-special treatment.

Sophia (on what makes her starstruck): I was out last night, and almost Остаться в живых it because I looked to my left and there's Hugh Laurie. I Любовь House. I mean, I Любовь it.

Sophia: Totally bizarre. I went to a very small, private, all-girls school my entire life. We never did the cheer thing. The first couple of weeks on the show, I felt completely spastic, especially when we had to do those choreographed chant things. Now, Hilarie [Burton] and I look вперед to the days we shoot cheers. We get to run around, act bubbly and shake our pom-poms in people's faces.

Sophia: Hilarie and Joy are just great. We hang out and have a great time.

Sophia: I have walked away from friendships when I've realized that someone smiles to someone's face and talks about them the минута they walk out of a room. I have no room in my life for that kind of negative energy anymore.

Sophia: Being a teenager is an amazing time and a hard time. It's when Ты make your best friends--I have girls who will never leave my сердце and I still talk to. Ты get the best and the worst as a teen. Ты have the best friendships and the worst heartbreaks.

Sophia (About working on the set of One дерево холм, хилл with ex-husband Chad Micheal Murray): My job is my job, and my personal life is my personal life, and I keep them separate. It's my job. It's not always easy, but it's my work – it's what I Любовь and take pride in, and I won't let that slack because of personal circumstances.

Sophia: (On her divorce) My Собаки get to sleep with me now, so they're the ones benefiting from the situation.

Sophia: As a strong woman, there are things I would never put up with.

Sophia: I went to a small, all-girls prep school in LA, and I was in a class of 55 girls from 7th grade until high school. There were a lot of schools like mine in the area. I knew girls like Brooke, like Haley, like Peyton. So, that’s what I draw from – remembering that time when people are trying to figure out who they are and where they’re going. It’s a really crucial time in life.

Sophia (on Brooke in One дерево Hill): Unlike Brooke, I was never the madly obssesed type. I was the girl-in-the-long-term-relationship type. I dated my best friend for three years in high school and he is still my best friend.

Sophia: I want to play everything. I really want to do it all.

Sophia куст, буш (on dating 'Stay Alive' co-star, Jon Foster): I took about a год for myself and now I have somebody great.

Sophia: I Любовь boxing. There's something fierce about using your body's force that way.
