Zendaya's performance in Spider-Man: Homecoming is so bad, she deserves a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actress.

Bella or Shailene would've been a much better choice for Michelle since they're both FAR superior actresses, don't tower over Spider-Man (Zendaya is 5'10 while Tom Holland is 5'8), and have more of a chance at having chemistry with Tom Holland and the rest of the actors because they're better actresses. Besides, Zendaya doesn't look like a high schooler. She looks like she just graduated from 8th grade when she's a full-grown adult. Also, this may be shallow and petty, but Bella and Shailene are both WAY prettier than Zendaya (who's completely generic and only looks pretty with photoshop/makeup), and while I wouldn't call Shailene Woodley a great beauty, she's certainly prettier than Zendaya.

None of them would be good MJs at all. They don't even remotely look like MJ or even give that feel.

Bella Thorne was my first and really only choice for Mary Jane (I know she's called Michelle but they called her MJ, so she might as well be Mary Jane)! She's a phenomenal actress, is gorgeous, has the fiery and sassy attitude that is required of MJ, and is a redhead. Shailene would be a great choice because she is amazingly talented and she was supposed to play Mary Jane in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, I still stand by my opinion that Bella Thorne is really the only actress that should've been considered to play MJ in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Yeah, Zendaya deserved a Razzie nomination for Worst Supporting Actress. Of course, her fans are going to say I only think this because of her skin color. I don't give a crap what race they cast for a character that is traditionally white as long as they can act. Hell, they could have blue skin with pink polka dots and purple hair with green stripes for all I care as long as they can act. Besides, when I first saw Zendaya on Shake It Up, I may sound stupid for this but, I didn't even realize she was a woman of color because she looked like a white girl with a slight tan. It wasn't until I saw her brother that I realized she was a woman of color and her all African parents on the show confirmed it. She really only gets hired and is praised for representation because she's a woman of color but has Caucasian features. If they wanted a colored actress for MJ why not the girl they got to play Liz? She's a great actress and she's at least shown in the movie as being biracial, unlike Zendaya who rants about racism when she's not all black but promotes herself as such and disregarding interracial couples and their biracial children. Okay, I'm getting way to into this! But either way, Zendaya is a horrendous actress and Bella Thorne should've been cast as MJ because she's amazingly talented and deserves to be an A-List actress.

"They don't even look remotely like MJ". Lol, what? I'm pretty sure Zendaya doesn't look like MJ, either, and no one's gonna look 100% like a drawn character from a comic book.
Why does an actor need to look like the original character, anyway? It's not supposed to be a carbon copy.
Also, I'm pretty sure Tom Holland doesn't look like Peter Parker in the comic books, either, so...

Also, "give that feel"? What the hell does that even mean? It's such a vague statement.

Also, have you seen Bella and Shailene act? They're both extremely versatile, and I'm pretty sure they can handle any role thrown at them.
Not that Michelle in Spider-Man: Homecoming was a role that required much acting ability (she just needed to be played by an actress that wasn't cringeworthy like Zendaya), but whatever.
