The Далее evening, the Beatles played another concert. Their minds weren’t really on it, though; they were on their quest to find new girlfriends.
After the concert, the Beatles ran out into the cool night air, pursued by their fans. “I Любовь you, John!” “Kiss me, Paul!” “Marry me, Ringo!” “George! George! I need you!”
None of these girls were what the Beatles were looking for. They put on a burst of speed, leaving the disappointed crowd behind. “In there!” called Paul, pointing to a small, out-of-the-way pub in an alleyway just ahead.
The Beatles made their way to this pub at full speed. They thought they could get in there before their Фаны caught up enough to see where they’d gone. They neared the door just as a small group of women were approaching, and Ringo, in the lead at this point, stopped running to open the door and hold it for the women to go through first.
One of the women – there were four of them, the Beatles could see now – turned and looked at him appraisingly. “Thank you,” she сказал(-а) after a moment, her voice cool but pleasant. She didn’t scream или cry или do anything to indicate that she knew или cared that these were the Beatles. Neither did her companions.
And they were very pretty.
“Oh – it was nothing,” Ringo replied quickly, following the women into the pub.
“We can do even еще for you, if Ты like,” added John with a wide grin.
“How about a drink?” Зачарованные Paul, lowering his long lashes.
Another of the women tilted her head to one side, considering. “Fine.”
The Beatles and the women made their way to a table. The four women looked very similar to one another, all tall and medium-slender with matching short, flipped-up hairdos. They all wore matching skirt-and-jacket Форс-мажоры and little pillbox hats. The biggest difference between the four was in their colouring: the one who’d spoken to Ringo had bright red hair and was dressed all in yellow; the one who’d agreed to have a drink with the Beatles had brown hair and was dressed all in blue; the third woman had blonde hair and was dressed all in green; and the fourth woman had black hair and was dressed all in purple. The women all looked to be in their mid- twenties: young enough to still be attractive to someone the Beatles’ age, but old enough not to go crazy over them like a teenager would.
“Are Ты all sisters?” George asked them as they sat down – the women did look very alike.
The black-haired woman smiled at him but didn’t answer.
“What are your names?” Paul pressed, a bit thrown, but not discouraged, by this lack of response.
“I’m May,” the woman with brown hair and a blue outfit told Paul. “This is Emily” she indicated the blonde woman dressed in green, “Morag” she pointed to the black-haired woman in purple, “and Natalya” she indicated the redhead wearing yellow.
“Beautiful name,” murmured Ringo a little distractedly, staring at Natalya’s bright red hair and fine, almost haughty features.
The eight ordered drinks and chatted into the night, though there wasn’t too much talking done as the Beatles were constantly forgetting everything else around them and just staring at the women, and the women never seemed to have too much to say. “So we were running away from our Фаны tonight, like we usually are...” John was telling Emily.
“Stupid girls,” Emily remarked. John felt a small twinge of annoyance, as though he wanted to stick up for his fans, but then he reminded himself that this just proved Emily wasn’t one of them, didn’t it? He should be glad she was talking that way.
“You don’t like rock Музыка at all?” Ringo was saying to Natalya with some surprise.
“Can’t stand it,” she replied. “It’s much too noisy. I only ever listen to classical.” She set her пиво glass down on the таблица hard, as if to underline her point. “That’s the only way to do music. All rock records ought to be burned.”
Ringo felt disappointed to hear this, and started at that last remark, but, he told himself, Natalya was probably just exaggerating to make her point. Besides, that was only one thing they didn’t share, wasn’t it? They would probably find loads of other things in common.
“What does a pretty girl like Ты do for fun?” Paul сказал(-а) to May.
“Probably еще than Ты get to do,” she shot back, sipping at her beer. Paul blinked, wondering where that had come from. Oh, well. Maybe that was just May’s way of flirting. She did seem to have a definite tough side.
“What do Ты girls do for a living?” George was asking Morag.
Morag just shook her head at him, once again not giving him an answer. “Oh, we get by. We even got ourselves a nice big place no one could find, outside the city. No annoying girls around; no one around at all. Would Ты like that, George?” Her big eyes searched George’s face, full of mystery and temptation.... George could feel himself getting lost. “I’d Любовь it,” he replied breathlessly.
At the end of the night, the women looking twice as beautiful to the Beatles under the influence of alcohol, the boys offered to drive the women home. The women refused. “We’ve got our car,” Natalya said. “We don’t want to be bothered by any brainless girls on our way back.”
Not just John, but all the Beatles, felt little twinges of anger at this, but they were far еще focused on the moonlight shining in the women's eyes. “All right,” Paul agreed, a little unsteadily. “But we’re taking Ты out tomorrow night.”
“Fine,” May сказал(-а) again. “Good night, Beatles.”
The women walked away single file, their steps almost perfectly in time with one another’s. The Beatles watched them go, their eyes transfixed by the swaying of their hips.
“What a girl,” sighed Ringo.
The other three nodded. Only their first night of looking, and already they had found their dream. Four wonderful, beautiful girls – who clearly weren’t Beatles fans.
After the mist had cleared up, Scrooge found himself in a gloomy cemetery. He looked around and was surprised by a mysterious cloaked figure standing behind him, who then removed his капот, худ to Показать his real face. He said, "Hello. I'm the Ghost of Рождество Future (Felix the Yeoman Warder)." Scrooge replied, "Oh, I should've guessed." The Ghost continued, "I see you've already learned quite a lot from those two spirits, eh? Well, it's not over yet; as Ты are about to see the consequences of your actions!" Scrooge nodded in response. He then asked, "Is it true that my employee's child will die...

"Woe is me! I had a promising future with my lovely lady and I gave them all up!", lamented Scrooge as he was back on his bed. At that moment, he heard the ringing of a колокол, колокольчик, белл along with a jovial voice coming from the living room. "Come one, come all! There's a glorious feast right in store for you! Huh, huh, huh, yeah (This may sound familiar if Ты watch the Beatles Cartoon)!" Scrooge did become speechless for a while upon seeing all that sumptuous food: Roasted turkey, pigs in blankets, mince pies, and even Рождество pudding! The секунда visitor then noticed him and said, "Why it's a pleasure...

At around 1:00 am, Scrooge found himself awakened by a glowing yellow light. "That must be coming from the first of those three spirits.", he thought. And indeed, it was. "Greetings, old chap! I'm the Ghost of Рождество Past (Dr. Robert - Remember him from "The Mystery of the Haunted Pier"?), and I have come to Показать Ты how your actions played a part in shaping Ты into the man Ты are today." Scrooge was nervous at first, but replied, "As Ты wish, spirit. Though, how are Ты gonna do that?" The Ghost said, "Simple! Here, hold my hand." What followed was quite possibly the wildest sky ride...

After continuing his work for the remainder of the day, Scrooge went back Главная just before midnight. However, as he made his way upstairs, he was startled by what sounded like rattling chains and a ghostly moan. He then tried locking the door and taking cover underneath the living room table, but those didn't work. "Eeebenezer Scrooge, where are you?", сказал(-а) the ghost as it finally appeared. This turned out to be none other than his former business partner! "Ah, there ye are! I have come to tell Ты something important." Still shuddering, Scrooge replied, "W-w-what are Ты doing here? How did...

The story begins on December 24 in Victorian London. Everyone was filled with the holiday spirit as they were getting ready for tomorrow. This, unfortunately, was not the case for a grumpy and surly money-lender named Ebenezer Scrooge. He had outrightly declined his nephew Fred's (Peter Harrison) Рождество ужин invitation as well as a donation offered by two gentlemen (Mike McCartney and Harry Harrison), who were fundraising for the poor. By the time Scrooge returned to his office, Bob Cratchit (his underpaid employee) had just finished work and was preparing to go home. He cheerfully greeted...

"Merry Christmas, Geo! Merry Christmas, ladies!", exclaimed John as the soon-to-be family entered the recording room. George replied, "Merry Рождество to you, too, me mate! I see Ты brought a copy of the book as a reference while waiting for us, eh?" John said, "Ye got that right! In fact, I own this as part of my collection." Laura replied, "Very cool, uncle John!" Pattie added, "I'll say! This project is sure to be just as fun as when we recorded 'Yellow Submarine'." George said, "My thoughts exactly, sweetheart!" Paul asked, "Well then, are Ты ready to get it started?!" Laura said, "Ready...

George and his daughter had just finished their breakfast and were getting themselves prepared to head back to Abbey Road Studios. As they wore their coats, boots, and other winter gear, Laura said, "I'm so excited to take part in the Рождество message with Ты and my uncles for the first time, daddy George! This is gonna be a real treat." George replied, "So am I, Laura, darling! Even еще exciting is that we will be doing our veddy own version of a certain classic, audio drama style! Of course, this was John's idea, and Ты can thank him for it afterwards." Laura replied, "Oh, how lovely! I'll certainly be keeping that in mind." George responded with a smile and a chuckle. He then took another look at the engagement ring for a while (which he had bought at the start of this month) and gently kissed it. Before long, they drove off, fetched Pattie from her flat, and were on their way to the Studios.

The sun had begun to set around the same time the group's tour finally came to an end. They then returned to the courtyard and decided to take a break from walking for a while. George told his brother, "Y'know something, Pete? That amulet actually gave us a better understanding of each other now, since we've pretty much spent the first half of this tour being in each other's shoes." Peter replied, "You are right on the money there, Geo! It was quite a learning experience, too." George said, "Indeed!" John said, "To вверх it all off, it made our visit to this замок еще memorable than what we...

Felix added, "And as I've сказал(-а) earlier; this is much better than having to watch over prisoners!" "Absolutely!", remarked Laura. When the group made it to the Armoury Room, Felix unlocked one of the drawers and took out a big book, which was a listing of further information on the Crown Jewels. After going through several chapters, he found the two pages that featured not only the amulet's backstory, but an illustration of it as well. He then explained, "This stone is known as the Amulet of Bandy (to my curious readers, bandy is used as one of the synonyms for switch. I chose that word because of having quite a nice ring to it.). It dates back to the Tudor era and has the ability to, without warning, swap the minds of...

It's that time of год once again when chills and thrills abound. Shortly after parting ways with the other Beatles and the Queen as they returned to their квартиры and Buckingham Palace respectively, George, Pattie, and Laura decided to spend a romantic evening at the small park just across Big Ben.
