They made quite a comedic duo.

However, this Joker is a guy who can't catch a break. His classmates don't take him seriously, the girls make fun of him and the only family member he seems to have treats him like a henchman. Jocson does a lot of the work for his demanding uncle, but his uncle treats him with disrespect. In a weird way, Jocson can be compared to Arthur Fleck, the version of the Joker that Joaquin Phoenix played. Of course, Joaquin's version was a lot darker, but I still see Jocson as a similar type of tragic villain.
Rene's Joker gives us something that we rarely get to see with the Joker, which is a redemption arc. Yes, Jocson and his uncle eventually see the error in their ways.
