The Vampire Diaries has cast the most feared Original of them all. Alice Evans, known for her role on Остаться в живых as young Eloise Hawkings and from her Последнее guest appearances on Brothers & Sisters and The Mentalist, has been cast as the Original Mother, Esther. The matriarch of our bad-ass vamp brood is described as beautiful, strong and fierce and will debut in episode 8 via a flashback.
