“Miss me?” Ponyboy asks.
“Of course. I haven’t seen Ты in awhile.”
“I know. I just don’t want your mom and dad to get suspicious, Ты going to the wrong side of the tracks and all.” He mutters, just holding you.
“I know.” Ты mutter. “I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
“Don’t Ты think I do too?” He says, holding Ты a bit tighter.
“I know Ты do.” Ты whisper.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you. I regret everything that happened when I first walked out. I thought it’d be better for both of us. But I was wrong.” He mumbled into your shoulder.
“I can’t wait till I’m 18. They won’t be able to tell me what to do. And I can have you.”
“And you’ll be mine.” He smiles.
