I don't think Klaroline is dead. Far from it.
I just think that this will give Caroline a chance to decide if she's willing to risk it all with Klaus. Now, she's seen every possible side of him.

They never had hope till now i think...They had cute moments but Caroline only loves Tyler right now.....

I really enjoy them as a pairing, despite all the evil Klaus has done towards her friends. When they are together, there's this high stakes passion/chemistry that is really amazing to watch. She can't help but be attracted to him, he's such a romantic and she strikes me as a fairy-tale princess type of girl who wants a happily ever after. I don't know if he can provide it (being all insecure, unpredictable and dangerous and all) but I'm hoping it won't be the end

Everyone has killed people. What's the big deal?? Who hasn't died or killed someone on this show. She will get over it and move on just like everyone always does.

I totally agree with RoswellGilr13 , I mean seriously who hasn't killed someone in this show ? for me , I think she will still have feelings for him and even Julie plec said it's a setback and caroline will still have feelings for him ! and yes, klaroline has just begun and it's so far away from the end !
btw, in S1 , Damon was the worst one ever and now Elena forgave him and even loves him , so I don't think killing Tyler's mom will change her feelings for klaus ,
