I do love the Mythology (even if it did get confusing at times), but most of my favourite episodes are stand alones like Bad Blood and PMP ect..

I love both yet again...I really just chose mythology because I loved explaining it to my other friends because they don't watch X-Files and when they watched those episodes they were like I really should watch it, explain this to me...

I like stand alone ones.

I especially like the ones where Mulder and Scully are investigating something in a remote area or in the woods and they are forced to improvise.

What about the character building in those episodes too? We wouldn't have had Scully and Mulder trapped on a rock together having an interesting conversation, the one where Sully is bat shit jealous at Det. White.

Definitely MOTW kind of stories. Mythology episodes got kinda hard to follow, and a little bit over the top at the end.
