I was sitting in a wooden chair surrounded by strangers and my grandmother. The last thing I remember I was in my Alegebra class when I was called to the office. My grandmother was there with two other ladies. My grandmother сказал(-а) to get in the car and to not ask questions. I did what I was told and ended up here.
"Do Ты think she has the power, Grace?" A short woman with dyed light blue hair looked to my grandmother for answers.
"I am postive," replied my grandmother. "She ahs been Показ signs since she was baby."
"Her mother failed to cut her powers off." A man Далее to my grandmother shook his head in disgust. "You can not lock up a witch's power."
"Wait . . . what?" I was only listening to about half of the conversation but I distinctly head the word "witch".
"Hush, child," wanted my grandmother. "Betty, Alec, we will continue this conversation outside. Christoper and Jasmine, please watch over my grandchild while I am gone."
Christoper glared at me with pure hatred. He looked to be around my age, dark brown hair, and intense grey eyes. He seem to be staring through me.
"You do not belong here," growled Christoper. "The Elders are fools to think Ты have any power at all. Ты are not apart of us."
"Christoper!" жасмин stared at Christopher probably begging him to hush. "They might hear you."
"Let them," сказал(-а) Christopher. He stalked off into another room muttering to himself.
"Sorry about him," apoloized Jasmine. She had dirty blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and she appeared to be in her early 20's while I am 16. "He just can not stand having another witch to compete against for the crown."
"But I am not a witch." жасмин simply smiled and patted my shoulder.
"You have no clue about your true potential," сказал(-а) Jasmine. "Do Ты realize what is happening? Ты are being enrolled into our society."
"The society of freaks?" жасмин laughed at my comment. "I am not a witch." My temper was rising and I knew what would happen if I get to angry.
"Do not worry, soon Ты will be happy to Присоединиться us."
I felt it. My normal black hair changed from black to a dark shade of red.
"See!" жасмин was jumping around while my grandmother, Betty, and Alec came from outside. "She has the power and the gift! She is one of us!" My grandmother tried to smile but it came out as frown.
******************************
I was kept in a small, all white room with a televison, bed, and a mini fridge. It has been two whole days and no one has came to explain anything to me.
My best friend, Holly, was probably freaking out.
There was a soft knock. My grandmother came through the door. She wobbled over to me and sat on the постель, кровати Далее to me.
"You are most likely wondering why Ты are here." She looked at my now black hair. I nodded my head in agreement. "Well, this will be much easier to explain if Ты try not to interrupt me."
"I just want ot know what is going on." I rested my head in my hands. If only my mother was alive to get me away from my grandmother's instane friends.
"You are a witch and so is your mother and so am I. The Casper girls have been known to possess magical powers. Your motehr was once the leader of all the witches in Utah but when she married your mortal father and had you, her outlook on life changed. She married a mortal man and had a half witch, half mortal daughter, that's you. She did not want the mortal to find out the truth about her but he did and he left both of you. Your mother raised Ты to be a mortal but she trusted Ты with me before she died. Now here we are."
"I am not a witch," i protested. Even as I сказал(-а) the words, I doubted them. If I was a witch, it would explain my changing hair color.
"Please do not utter those words," pleaded grandmother. "You are and Ты must believe it because if Ты do not then Ты can not take over leadership. I will be forced to give the crown to Christopher."
"What is wrong with him? He obviously wants it еще then I do." I lifted my head up tos ee my grandmother's green eyes filled with saddness. It had never occured to me that she has Остаться в живых a daughter recently. She probably could not bare the thought of losing me because of this argument.
"Christopher is a fraud. He is not a true witch. He is faking but no one believes me. I fyou take the crown then I will not have to worry about Christopher.
"How is he a fraud?" I will admit that Christopher does act a little like a psychopath. "Besides, I do not want to take thepower. I do not want to be the leader of this mythical group."
"Abigail, please. I do not want Ты to be unhappy but I also know what is best for you. What is best for Ты is embracing your roots as a witch."
"I do not know what is best for me anymore." I turned my eyes away from my grandmother.
"Abigail, Ты are a witch and I will prove it to you." My grandmother grabbed both of my hands in hers. All of a sudden, I could feel myself floating in the air. My hair was changing Цвета rapidly now and for some reasonI knew what my grandmother was telling is the truth.
"I know what I must do now, grandmother," I said.

The End
This is a poem I came up with
The pain is far greater
the pain is almost blinding
Ты сказал(-а) you'd always Любовь me
a rope of Любовь wrapped around me, a binding
But now I know the truth
You're nothing but a fake
Ты took my сердце and played with it
and now my сердце does nothing but ache
I wish to hear your voice again
I wish Ты had never hurt me
for now I can't even look at Ты
without having to turn and flee
This pain has gotten worse
I can't stand it much longer
but if I take a blade....
I can take the pain Ты gave me and make a different pain stronger.
The pain is far greater
the pain is almost blinding
Ты сказал(-а) you'd always Любовь me
a rope of Любовь wrapped around me, a binding
But now I know the truth
You're nothing but a fake
