1. Carlisle defeated the odds and created a family that could be civilized. He's always there for them, guiding them and helping them (and others). He's a brilliant father.

2. Charlie's and great father too, reminds me of my own a little. I like that, as Bella said, he "doesn't hover". He doesn't want to interfere but when it does come down to his daughter he just wants what is best.

3. We don't get to see much of Edward being a father as Nessie is constantly with other family members but from what we do see, he is a great dad too. He goes to extreme lengths to protect his child and some may say that he was being a little overprotective but ... he's Edward! Of course he was. C'mon, that's his thing. Every dad should be overprotective of his child.

4 - 5 - For me, Billy and Harry are about a tie. There isn't really much to go on! But I'm sure they're both brilliant fathers too.

We don't see much of Harry at all, so judging his parenting would be wrong.
Let's start with Charlie. Charlie's protective, but he "doesn't hover" which is great.
Edward, we don't see much of his fathering, but he did go to certain lengths to protect his daughter.
Billy... you tried, but you can't do much in a wheelchair..
and Carlisle...
starting a family, finding every vampire you can to help protect your family, and died trying to protect his family. I think that was great, honestly.. Selfish in a way, but still..
But still, I can't choose one.

I would've picked Carlisle, but he's not "technically" a dad. He doesn't have any biological kids. So, I chose Edward instead.
