With Edward, it's curly. But when Edward leaves, she stops taking care of herself and everything in her life reflects that. She's pretty both ways :D

She looks better with the curls,she looks messed up with the straight/wavy,but thats the point

I wasn't a big fan of it in the first movie. And this actually looks a bit too Kristen than Bella. A bit too sexy/"edgy". But still.

When i first saw the trailer for New Moon, the first thing i noticed other then Jacob's body was her hair. I have to say i absolutly love it!

I have not idea about that until I saw her in this quiestion, jajaja. I have to pay more attention. But I agree with Evka26-vampire she looks in twilight more like bella.

by the way, (in New Moon) It's not supposed that she was sad, so what did she have to look beatiful if edward wasn't near????? ummm??? can somebody explain it to me???

She stopped taking care of her looks...it's really easy, when someone you care about left you, you feel miserable and you don't care about your looks nor your behaviour...Although Bella did make an effort to stay normal for Charlie, we don't know anything about her looks in New Moon, and I really think they made an awesome job making her hair looking like that....You can clearly see the difference between her hair when Edward was with her, and her hair when he left her....
