I love all the first 4 but for some reason the 3rd is still easily lifted to number one place. It just had the atmosphere and if I recall correctly one of my all time favorite characters, Faith, comes in in it too. I think the third season's ending would've been also a nice ending for the whole serie.

But as said I also love the 4th. Mostly because of the new interesting setting with the college. And lots of Spike - another all time favorite character of mine. And I love the episode where Buffy's room mate turns out to be a demon from another dimension and Buffy's absolutely sure she's evil demon and no one believes her and at one point she does sound like she's going crazy. xD But the end of that episode is the most fun part, lol. Ah, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is absolutely one of the best tv series ever.

Love season 3! Especially with Faith being introduced and alot of new concepts about Slayer and power comes with responsibility. Alot of good episodes too!

Season 2, 5 and 7 are also brilliant :) Any crossover with Faith!!

i like season four because you have Buffy with a stable guy, willow dealing with heart break and the getting through it, Xander falling in love, and a neutered spike who adds comic relief. plus side nobody dies or leaves or gets sent to hell!:)
