- Stealthkit padded through the brambles after his father, Swiftbite. He didn't know where he was going and wanted to find out. All of a suddedn, Stealthkit was out in the middle of a clearing. There, right in front of him, were 6 cats, all looking mean and sharpening their claws on rocks. There was no time to run. Stealthkit crouched down like he had seen Winterpaw and Spottedpaw doing. She put back his ears and growled. The Кошки looked at him mockingly. They were laughing at him! Just then, he сказал(-а) to his father, "Father! Save me!" But as Swiftbite turned and faced him, Stealthkit saw none of the warmth he had seen in the nursery, but instead a cold, fierce anger. The Далее thing Stealthkit knew, his father had leapt ontop of him. Swiftbite's claws scraped his face, and his back paws pummeled his tiny chest. Then, he saw something he loved. His mother, and the rest of his clan had arrived! But this didn't seem t o scare the bad Кошки off. It nly seemed to intimidate them. Just then, hs father got off him, and stepped back. Stealthkit made no attempt to get up. Then, one of the other bad cats, a tawny brown tom, steped вперед and leapt onto Stealthkit's head. Luckely, he missed and landed Далее to him, but one heavy paw struck the side of his head and his eyes filled with blood. He could no longer see, but he could still hear. The Кошки of StormClan were battling like LionClan, the bad Кошки attacks matched by their defence. Then, a cat landed on him, and he was knocked out.
-When Stealthpaw woke, he was in the Medicine den. Ivytail was leaning over him. "Featherthorn, he's awake!" Ivytail called. Just then, his mother raced in. "Oh, Stealthkit, how could your own father do that?" She bent down and licked him, smoothing his fur. Just then, Icestar padded in. She whispered something to Ivytail, and Ivytail nodded. Then, Icestar said, "Stealthkit, Ты fought like an apprentice yesterday. It's time Ты became an apprentice." "Me?!" Stealthpaw asked. "Yes you." Icestar purred.
(Later that day, Stealthkit became Stealthpaw, and almost completely forgot about his father. His mother's new ,mate, Hawkflight, took over the role of his father, and Stealthpaw liked that. Hawkflight was funny, and most important of all, pure StormClan!)
