So I just got done watching a pretty darn Популярное Аниме named "The Familiar Of Zero". (Well, it was only season one, but yeah. It had an ending and all that, so I'm not really cheating here.)
And this anime....... I Любовь it. Honestly. From the секунда I started episode one I knew this was going to be awesome, and it mostly was! BUT I do have a few complaints with it.........
And by a "Few" I mean A GODDAMN TRILLION.

So although I really do think The Familiar Of Zero (The original 2006 run of it, that is.) is a fantastic Аниме by itself, it definitely has its problems.
For one, this is one of those Аниме with the 12-13 episode curse. What do I mean by this? Well, a TON of short Аниме are almost ALWAYS 12 или 13 episodes, and although I really enjoy watching them because of how little time they take away from my life and how fast I can watch them, they ALWAYS have to be a little bit rushed.
Therefore, not much time for character development, not much time for comedy, not much time for anything really. Ты HAVE to be quick and smart if Ты want to make a good 12-13 episode Аниме или Ты WILL...........
Ты will..... Ты will, uh, um, be hurt very much?
Ты WILL BE HURT VERY MUCH! >:D (A+ for vocabulary there Jared -____-)
Now onto the actual complaints. And this first one has to do with the short episode count.
I REALLY wish some of the characters got еще screen time, like the talking sword that Saito always carries around REALLY could've had еще done with him.
Another complaint is KIND OF Louise herself. I mean, I'm one of the few people that actually LIKES her, but still, SHE IS THE MOST BRUTAL UNFORGIVING TSUNDERE IN ALL OF Аниме LAND.
Is that even a fucking place? Аниме Land? XDDD HOW DO I THINK OF THIS SHIT?
Anyways, Louise, as I said, is pretty damn terrifying. Whenever Saito does something even remotely annoying или bad, she threatens him. With things like this.
-No Еда until downright starving
-100 Lashes with a whip
-EXPLOSION
-Very painful face-plant to wherever the hell she so desires
-Boot to the face
-Sleep outside of room laying in сено, сена in presumably freezing cold hallway WITH no food
-YOU GET MY FUCKING POINT YET?
And she treats him like a goddamn slave, NO JOKE. But here's one complaint everyone ignores about this Показать for some reason.
Louise treats Saito like a slave because she says that Familiar's are supposed to be loyal to their masters and do a lot of work for them, but here's the thing.............
NOT ONLY DO WE NEVER SEE ANY OTHER FAMILIAR'S DOING ANY WORK FOR THEIR MASTERS, BUT IT WOULDN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE!
For example, Geiche has a моль familiar. HOW WOULD A моль HELP Ты PUT ON YOUR CLOTHES или DO Ты LAUNDRY или ANYTHING.
Another example is the first familiar we see in the show, it's basically a levitating eyeball.
HOW IN THE MOTHER LIVING FUCK WOULD AN EYEBALL HELP Ты WITH GODDAMN ANYTHING!? HOW!?
So in the end, Louise has NO reason to be treating Saito so harshly.
Lastly, (SPOILERS) the one guy that claimed to be Louise's fiance is WAY TOO FUCKING OLD TO BE DATING LOUISE.
LOUISE IS FUCKING WHAT, MY AGE? AND THE GUY THAT WANTS TO MARRY HER? FUCKING I DON'T KNOW....... FIFTY!?
IT'S SO FUCKING AWKWARD! EVEN WHEN LOUISE WAS A LITTLE GIRL IN THAT ONE FLASHBACK, HE STILL LOOKED GODDAMN THIRTY. WHAT THE FUCK GUYS.
