Do Ты have to have an Evil character/real Villain?

In the story I'm Письмо no one is really Evil. All the characters do some bad things (kidnapping, attempted murder and so on) but no one is really the antagonist. They all have good reasons for what their doing. Some characters think one of them is evil but he thinks their the evil ones. I have main characters on various sides, so everyone gets portrayed as both a good guy and a bad guy. i've never read anything like that so I'm not sure if it's okay. I'm a little еще than half way through and there aren't any problems with no villain affecting the plot. I'm just not sure if it's okay. Their is conflict just no "Bad guy". So is that okay или can Ты not have a story like that?

Of course it is. In my opinion, the best stories are the ones where no one is really evil. To me, they're еще realistic.

I personally do. I always like the villains the best in my own Письмо in in other writings, I don't feel complete without them.

I think I might be трещина, сплит with this. I write a lot of characters who are villians, but then again I still write a lot of characters who start off good and turn evil, exploring there motviations to do so as the story progresses. And with story I'm Письмо now there is a character who does bad things but is still good in her own right.

as a reader i like the Книги to have a villain but i don't think it's a bad idea not to have one. if your book does have suspicion and such about who is the bad guy i think it fills the gap of not having one.
