I love writing dialogue, but then you can say lots more about scenery, and you can get a bit tangled up in dialogue(*_*)

Dialogue is keeps it interesting. And you learn alot about characters by what they say.

You should tend to have less dialogue in comparison to description. Relying on dialogue to describe scenes and explain situations is very amateurish and makes the story flat.

there needs to be a balance of the two...too much of one can sometimes be not really necessary so i say in moderation of both depending on the story and plot, and what comes by author's instinct in how they write :)
