is out on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download today, so to celebrate the occasion 20th Century Fox has teamed up with the burgermasters at Ribs & Burgers to create a one-off Mutant Burger — a blue bun, chilli, chicken and blue cheese sauced monstrosity that looks goddamn delicious. If your arteries can take it, here’s how to get one.
At all Ribs & Burgers stores across NSW, Victoria, QLD and WA, the 28th of September is Mutant Day — and this particular burger will be on the menu, as well as available for delivery to nearby areas through Deliveroo. It’ll stick around for a few days — a week, to be exact — so you don’t have to get one straight away if you already have lunch plans.
Obviously inspired by Mystique, this mutant burger is apparently an “apocalyptic taste experience”. Here’s what it looks like cut in half:
