He stepped quietly but quickly up the steps. He hoped they were here, или at least Tara. As he walked down the hallway, his thoughts turned to his brown-eyed girl. Her soft lips, her willing determination, her splendid brown hair. He could see her soft smile, the playful огонь in her eyes.

“Alek?”
He was a little disappointed that Becca answered the door.
“Hi.”
“When did Ты get back?”
“About an час ago.”
Becca nodded and slipped into the hallway, closing the door.
“What do Ты want, Alek?”
“Let me see Tara.”
Becca paused for a moment. Her eyes seemed to darken.
“She's sleeping right now.”
“Will Ты tell her I want to see her?”
“No.”
Alek was a little stunned.
“Why not?”
Becca suddenly landed a kick to his chest. Alek went tumbling backwards but got to a crouched position. Becca came at him with a few spells. He dodged a good amount of them, but Becca got a few good hits too. She took out her escrim sticks and teleported. Alek looked around him. She was suddenly in front of him and knocked him against the wall, dagger at his throat.
“You caused Tara to harm herself. Ты made her attempt to killing a few times. Ever since Ты left, she has been trying to hurt so her сердце doesn't break. She's been better the last few days and I won't have Ты putting her into еще danger.”
“Let me see her.”
“You dared to hurt my lamb. But I refuse to allow Ты near her. Unless Ты beat me in a battle of honor, Ты will not go near Tara again.”
