I'm not really digging some things. I don't think Helena Bonham Carter is right for Julia. She doesn't have that authoritive, no-nonsense woman quality to her. The plot seems OK, I'm not too sure about having Barnabas as a Playboy and a womanizer. That makes him a little unsympathetic but it does give him a bit еще character I suppose. Whoops! Should have waited to post that! According to several sources, Michael Sheen is "in talks" for a role in the film. They don't say what role he's being offered, but my guess is either Roger Collins, или Quentin Collins, или Burke Devlin.

In this article, Eva Green talks about playing Angelique in the new DS film. Kinda has me worried, she's the third person who called the script "funny", but I'm gonna give it the BOTD.

According to IMDb, Eva Green has been offered Angelique (although I hope Charlize Theron gets it), Bella Heathcote has been cast as Josette/Maggie, and Jackie Earl Haley as Willie. I'm excited for this movie. Too bad since the filming won't be for another couple months, they probably won't announce official casting yet. Although I have seen several Статьи listing Sigourney Weaver as being a part of this film, probably as Julia Hoffman, it was on wikipedia, and her one blogsite. I really hope Sigourney plays Julia. On the Dark Shadows page on IMDb, Kirsten фургон, ван Wagner is listed as Victoria Winters. I've seen no Статьи about that on Collinwood.net. There are still speculations about Sigourney Weaver being cast as Julia, probably if they're true, her and the producers are still in negotations. I just read this Статья on Wikipedia claiming that not only was Johnny Depp was confirmed as Barnabas, but that Sigourney Weaver was confirmed as Julia, Charlize Theron confirmed for Angelique, Christina Ricci was confirmed for Vicky and that Keira Knightley was confirmed for Josette.
