After watching anime for a long time then you'll begin to notice the little distinct differences in art style that set each character apart.

Even if you don't watch anime that much. There's tons of characters that look nothing like the other characters so I ever felt that way tbh.

Pretty much all of the anime characters I see are either just cute or are really plain. The Avatar shows have a much better anime style than any of the other anime's do and it's technically not even a real anime. However, I will admit that Lust (the women in the no picture) is absolutely stunning.

^ It's more than just being 'cute', or 'plain'... I think the point that anime lovers would generally make, is how different anime drawing styles can be, which reflects a difference between many different anime females... think about the difference between females from One Piece and females from Bleach... and then compare to females from Angel Beats, K-On, Tsubasa aReservoir Chronicles, Cowboy Bebop and they all have different drawing styles... frankly, what anime have you even watched?
