I have my first job interview Далее week. Any tips? Also, the interview is at noon and I have class before that so it's not very practical to dress up. So, do Ты think it would be ok to wear a nice sweater & black jeans with black boots?

Doesn't matter what Ты are doing before, get suited up. Ты have to dress to impress.

Be prepared to answer Вопросы about time management, and how Ты organise priorities, as well as how Ты get on with people.

Be relaxed, prepare your Ответы ahead of time.

I've been to dozens of job interviews and what above said, dress to impress. First impressions are paramount.

If you're worried choose a suit, get it cleaned, laundered and then hang it up on a пальто hanger, wrapped in a large plastic bag so it doesn't crease and keep it in your locker. That way Ты can change in less then 3 минуты and be on your way. Make sure your shoes are shiny and brush your hair. If Ты have no time to clean your teeth, suck mints.

Prepare your Ответы before hand, like above said. Imagain what Вопросы they will ask Ты and write down your answers. Practise in a mirror, with friends, your parents, your tutors until Ты can rely on eye contact to get Ты through.
Ты CV should include any other jobs Ты have done, references from your employers, anything Ты do out of school time Ты find interesting, what grades Ты have/grades Ты are predicted.
If Ты haven't had a job yet, ask your tutors if they will write a short note on how they find Ты in class.
And the best tip i was ever given. If Ты do not understand a Вопрос the employer asks, или wish for еще time to think about your answer say ' could Ты please repeat the question.'

Just remain calm and be as honest but positive as Ты can.

For example,i told my current employer though i had expereince in waitressing it was not as high class as the establishment they were in, and that instead of telling me what to do (like how to carry 7 plates instead of 3) they would have to Показать me as i was a visiual learner. That will give your employer the confidence that Ты know what Ты need to learn.

I was employed in September 2010, we are now in Janurary 2011, and i am already an under-manager. To say i started as a waitress, that isn't so bad.
But Ты must Показать Ты can work hard and take things in.

4 Do Not Be Late
5 Keep calm
6 If Ты have to shake hands make it a firm hand shake not a салат leaf one
