If there is anything that I like еще than life itself, it’s Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and of course, anime. I saw my first Аниме almost ten years назад during a stage where I just couldn’t sleep through the night. Every night I would go to sleep and wake up a mere three to four hours later unable to fall in sleep again. My first anime, Yu Yu Hakusho, had a five o’clock Показ everyday on Toonami and originally Adult Swim. The epic tale of Yusuke Urameshi drew me in. I completely loved it to death, this lead me to looking up the Показать and discovering that it was not just a regular cartoon, it was anime. This explained the beautiful artwork, and why it differed from other shows. At this point in time I was just a ten год addicted to Телевидение shows such as Power Rangers and Invader Zim. Discovering Аниме really changed what I watched. And in a way, I guess it just gave me something to watch every morning when I couldn’t sleep. It was way better than those час long Телевидение advertisements; quite frankly everything was better than those vacuum commercials.
• Аниме has beautiful artwork
Okay, not EVERY Аниме has beautiful artwork. But Аниме like: Kuroshitsuji, Soul Eater, Death Note, Durarara!!, Baccano!, Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, Ouran High School Host Club, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Junjou Romantica , hell I could go on and on, all have great artwork.
•Character Дизайн
Once again, not all Аниме have good character designs. One of my absolute Избранное things about Аниме is the facial expressions. I Любовь how each expression denotes moods and thoughts. Everything from the bloody nose, the sweat drop, или the ‘X’ eyes to Показать a knockout is pure Золото to me. I just adore it.
•Japanese culture
Okay, their culture doesn’t normally survive the dub. But I’m basically talking about the story themes adapted into the Аниме as well as the culture of the Japanese. Everything from Japanese history, beliefs, and classical literature are adapted in anime. Since I always found the Japanese culture to be a beautiful and interesting one, it is a major bonus for me.
•75% of American Телевидение sucks
Japanese and UK Телевидение is 100% better than most American shows.
