Definitely! I've learned words like Onii-chan,Kawaii,Neko..I could go on and on really..but those are the first words that come to mind right now.

I have learned so many.

Quite a few, actually xD Kudasai, kawaii, neko, onii-Chan, ne, sensei, sama, sempai, san, kun, ect. :D Also because of Hetalia (mostly the character songs) I've learned a lot about the different countries.

I've learned a few things actually~ Like Sumimasen (is that spelled right?)~ I learned it from Sakurai Ryō from Kuroko no Basuke... He's so adorable. I love him~ <3

Anyways, t's really amazing what phrases and words you can learn from watching subtitles... I really enjoy watching subtitles. It's a learning experience~ :) The most amazing thing to me is, I learn things without even realizing it.

I've also learned tons of things from watching Hetalia as well.

Definetly! I learned japanese culture,parts/places of japan like akihabara being the spot for anime/manga/nerds I think and mt.fuji,stuff about new year etc....japanese words/phrases,something you're supposed to do when you're at the shrine (like clapping,money & ringing the bell),writing the kanji for people on the palm of your hand & pretend to swallow/eat it you lose nervousness/stay calm,sometimes I can understand some stuff people in the anime say even when its not subbed and even more stuff that I learned about Japan ,when we are watching some kind of gameshow on TV and the question is about Japan then I always get it right! ^^
