This is true Hack GU//Trilogy the characters go into the online game world like they do in Sword Art Online. And the sane concept of Sword Art Online is the same concept in Hack GU//Trilogy. Both Sword Art Online and Hafk GU//Trilogy are good Anime. But Hack GU//Trilogy needs more fans and praise just like Sword Art Online does.

Hack was one of the first mangas I read.

There are a lot of anime/manga dealing with video game style worlds, I already really don't like SAO and it doesn't make me like it any better when I see a lot of fans saying one of the reasons it's good is because it's the only anime dealing with that type of story/setting.

Yah i get what your saying PainsEpic Hack is what it seems like they based Swo. Meaning from what i heard SWO is supposed to be acopybofHack Gu//Trilogy. And Zanhar where did you get and read Hack Trilogy Manga at? Lucky you.

I really doubt they directly based SAO on anything, if they did they would have to say it I assume, it just has a similar genre is all. Which is fine obviously; my problem is just when people think SAO is the only anime of that genre when it's clearly not.

I've never watched SAO. From what I have heard about it, it did remind me the .hack series. Even though I absolutely love G.U., I have no interest in SAO.
