Can Вампиры eat Еда as well? или do they get sick?

They can глотать, ласточка the Еда but they won't digest it. Like in the first book when Edward ate a bite of Bella's пицца he had to cough it back up later. They all think Еда it pretty gross too. (Like us eating dirt.)

well, edward did eat a slice of cold пицца with charlie in eclipse, right? или am i just dreaming?
