I disagree. I think the goal of those Фильмы are not to be realistic. Дисней makes movie so they can entertain children. If it is funny and have great artistic design, I think the story doesn't have to be like it was in reality. Also, most of adults fimls clamed historicly correct still make some mistakes. The filmmakers must do changes so the story can fit with the audiences and Дисней adapts the stories so they can be easy to understand as a child and also in order to make the little ones(and bigger ones)dream.

I completely agree with Ты I wish Дисней didn't drastically change the little mermaid. или Peter Pan I don't get why Динь-Динь is all woman-like it doesn't say she is in the book или with that Остаться в живых boys in animal suites what's with that? Alice in Wonderland didn't have what the book had and The Hunchback of Notre Dame why even make that movie practically everyone dies. But Walt himself didn't change them toooo much but Рапунцель - Запутанная история ugh horrible interpretation of Rapunzel not at all alike.

i disagree its not annoying because most historical stories r not happy endings and thats disneys trademark and wat little kid is gonna relate 2 and b mesmerized by the actual historical happenings

Фильмы are ultimately for entertaining, and if children wanted to learn a historical lesson, they could watch a documentry. I like that Дисней adapts stories and changes them accordingly... Like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which really has Phoebus cheating on Esmeralda (who also dies and is - for lack of a better word - a tramp). They tone it down to make it appropriate, relatable, and enjoyable. BUT, I don't think it's right to manipulate historical figures as extensively as they did in say, Pocahontas. It was a great story, but it really had nothing to do with who Pocahontas was and what she stood for. I think they should have instead changed the native's name and made it a Дисней original story. Which it basically was anyways. Personally, I would like to see еще Фильмы like Hunchback with deeper messages even if they do come at the cost of a PG rating, and it definitely annoys me when plots are completely inaccurate... (non-disney example would be A Beautiful Mind... John the schizophrenic see's people everywhere the entire movie, but he didn't in real life). Anyways, I'm all over the map here, but I do agree with you. I'm glad they change it for the kids, but they're not doing reality justice. I certainly wouldn't want a movie made of my life if the Director was planning to skew the truth beyond recognition, but perhaps I'm being to hard on them. I Любовь Disney, but I too wish they were a bit еще accurate in their depictions.
